"Upon checkin a woman named cassandra was extremely mean and rude. I told her I am very sad because my mom died and she said “so my mom died too” i said yesterday? She said we do not have any rooms until 3:00. It was 6:30 am. I sat in the lobby. Luckily for me a new lady came in around 8 and she gave me my room early. But this was an exasperating experience. Cassandra also said to me that there are other hotels nearby and she had the option whether she wanted to check me in or not. This was very bad. "

"The location was great and next to the N train to get you right into Manhattan. The staff was VERY friendly and answered any questions we had. The room was a good size and we really liked that the whole property was non smoking. The AC didn’t work too well. Which was okay on the last day since it was cold out. However, on the 72° day, it only felt nice in the room when we cracked the window. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The first experience with breakfast wasn’t the greatest (just didn’t offer much and they ran out of a lot of stuff). The next time we made use of it though was better. The room overall was very clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel did have a bar with very limited hours and very pricey drinks. I’d suggest walking down to the little store on the corner and buy your beer and pop there bc at the hotel they were $3.87 for a 20oz pop and $8 for one can of domestic beer. If you want mixers just Uber Eats it. Parking I can’t speak on bc we just used public transportation. Subway was about a 9-10min walk. The area didn’t seem the greatest, but it was very well lit and police patrolled it very well. We never felt threatened even when we would arrive back after 10pm. "
