Great place for family, lots of things for kids to do. Reasonable prices. Our condo was cold, windows were so thin I think the cold got in and it was noisy. Couldn’t get anything on the tv’s to work, and the coffee machine and kettle were hard to operate, they worked when they wanted to.

We appreciate your feedback and have thoroughly checked the unit based on your comments.Regarding the temperature, our wall heaters typically heat the units well, sometimes even making them quite warm. It's possible the thermostats in each room may not have been adjusted properly. We've tested them, and they are working as expected. This is the first time we've received feedback about the unit being cold, but we'll monitor this closely.As for the TVs, they are smart TVs equipped with Roku, allowing access to various streaming services. We've checked and confirmed that they are functioning correctly. The transition to internet TV from traditional cable offers more viewing options, which many of our guests enjoy.We also tested the Keurig coffee machine and kettle in your unit, and they are both operating correctly. They are designed to be user-friendly with simple plug-in and one-touch operation.Our housekeeping and maintenance managers have thoroughly inspected the unit, ensuring that everything is in working order. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and appreciate your positive remarks about the overall stay.Thank you again for your review. We entered our 2 level suite and the smell of animal urine and cigarettes was unreal! The kitchen floor was sticky, bathroom toilet had hair on it... the staff were great, we were offered a cabin which was much cleaner!

Great value especially in the off season. Cabin was spacious and had a full kitchen with table and chairs which was super convenient. Beds were comfy but we found lots of little hairs in the sheets (looked like cat fur... love that it's pet-friendly but that requires extra cleaning!) Loved that there was a nice little patio with bbq and chair and a grassy area to play and have a fire (each cabin has a fire pit). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay - didn’t know this resort even existed. Just alongside the old highway so a bit of noise from traffic but nothing outrageous. We just stayed one night so it was hard to really enjoy it although the front seat staff invited us to use the pool the next day after vacating our room for 11 so that was nice.

We come to Riverside almost every year. It’s a great place for families with fun amenities like a pool, waterslide and mini golf, and it is super close to Qualicum Beach.

The pool and water slide were amazing! Room was clean and beds were comfy. TV did not work kept cutting in and out and the sink in the bathroom had a very slow drain.

We have adopted Roku TV system for all TV's of the resort and I believe the cutting in and out was most likely a minor case of buffering which occasionally happens while watching internet TV. After reading your experience with the slow drain we have notified our maintainence team to take an immediate look at the issue.

I liked the miniature golf and most of all the water slide. I don't like slides st the best of times but I had to try, I screamed and laughed the whole way down. My only complaint we couldn't stay longer.

This was a perfect family friendly hotel. We had 7 children ages 7 and under. With 2 side by side rooms and an RV site opposite, a pool with water slides and a playground, along with space outside, it was a perfect setup. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ice cream amazing and the parents loved playing mini golf after little ones were in bed-wonderful get away.

Couldnt tell if it was multi family run or something? A lot of the older staff had terrible attitudes and were quite mean to the younger staff working with them. Pool staff was yelling at Im assuming her kids and other kids to "enforce" pool rules. Older guy was yelling at the world and just all around grouch mumbling to himself. Evening store staff was yelling and bossing around the young teen who was trying to do multiple things. Didnt listen when the teen was explaining what she was doing and when she get to what was asked Other than that loved it. Very clean and quiet

Our Life Guard takes her job very seriously because there are many children in a pool at a given time and lives are at stake. Her job requires her to be firm but thank you for sharing your thoughts on that I can pass it along to them. I am unsure on who the older guy could be and the store staff is training new summer students. We have a convenience store and icecream store on the same site so I will definetely let them know to not answer questions or provide directions from afar off when its really busy and people are lined up because it get misinterpreted and can come across as yelling and screaming. Thank you for your thoughts!

Really nice little cabins that are updated, comfortable and a short walk to the beach! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The one thing was one of the cabins did smell a bit like smoke (even though it was non-smoking) but we opened the windows and turned on fans to air it out and it was fine. If we come back to Qualicum beach, we will definitely consider staying here again!

Hi Priscilla, thank you for staying with us, we are happy you and your friends found the accommodation comfortable and cozy, we appreciate you bringing the issues of smelling of smoke to our attention. We figured that the cigarette smell from the guests who stayed next to you who smoked outside came into your unit just before you checked into the unit, and that could have happened otherwise, yes, your units and every other units are "Non-Smoking" units nowadays as we don't have any smoking unit in our resort. And hope to see you in the future again.

Very clean and comfortable. Good for going with the family. Just one comment ....the front desk guy informed us that the more you pay for the cabin the more things you will get... when asked for 2 more towels.

Despite having already paid an exorbitant amount in points and money for this room when we arrived they claimed we hadn't paid taxes and claimed more money before we could check in. First property we've ever booked with points that claimed that at check-in. Quite the grift. Also, we booked a motel room but were put in what they called a side-by-side. No AC. The mini golf is in terrible shape. It was not particularly enjoyable aside from the pool.

Hi Tracey, and thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your stay overall. One of our employees explained to you what was going on with this Expedia booking. We feel that we are the victim in this case as Expedia was the one who created all of these issues with tax portion etc...but truly, we can definitely understand your situation and point. And you have paid 200 per night for your 1bedroom suite and the rate for a 1-bedroom suite could have been much more but you've found the deal out on Expedia. And every single unit will have brand new ACs before the next summer. It could have been much better if you have let us know and given us a chance to make things better for you at least when you were still here at the resort. Please feel free to contact us with any of your concerns.
