"Built as an executive retreat for employees of Washington Mutual this is now a gem of a hotel and relaxing grounds near the airport. (I had to look up the history of it bc I couldn’t fathom its origin) We used it as a one night stay before an early flight out of SeaTac. I will absolutely do it again but next time may arrive earlier to take advantage of the spa. Beds are comfortable tubs in bathrooms are big and snacks in the living room of each building a nice bonus"

"The price has gone up considerably and the value is not as good. The room was very dated and if you want a microwave and fridge there is a higher cost for the room. I do like the pool . The fitness center is ok. The best part is being able to walk to the airport and link line. They do have a good shuttle service. I was exhausted when I arrived and was there early but was told I didn’t have the type of room for early check in. Some hotels really try to accommodate if possible particularly airport hotels. The veggie burrito was terrible. Cheap cheese and tiny pieces of peppers. $16.00."

"The hotel was beautiful upon entry. The staff, while absolutely bombarded with check-ins were very courteous and kind. The elevator was a huge hit with my kids (20 yo) and the room was bright and spacious. They both loved the bed, quoting it was insanely comfortable. We were also offered two free drinks, which I immensely appreciated. 10/10 would stay again. Tacoma was also, so much better than expected. The whole area around the hotel was so immaculate and safe. The restaurants and waterfront were wonderful to discover."

"Good sized clean room with great air con. I arrived early and my room was ready so that was great. Good facilities for tea and coffee making and a great shower/tub. Although the hotel is a little dated in parts, everything is super clean and the staff are all lovely. I would definitely stay here again, given all the above as well as the easy walk to Sound Transit to get into Seattle"
