Food was alright, lots of Sandbug, we got 50 bites on our legs. Beach is gorgeous. Room is a bit dirty, everytime after the come clean the bathroom it smells even worse than before, quite sure that they use the same mob head for everything without even putting any sanitizing solution in that bucket of water. Mini fridge is completely just for storage, not cold at all. Never expect anyone will pick up the phone when you try calling for services. It was alright.

This property was nice they could do better with food options and kids activities they did same thing everyday at minidisco for kids.. Leidy and Jerry were excellent in helping us with everything.. I would recommend for the buffet for the severs to seat their customers it was annoying trying to figure which table is empty to sit at. Other then we loved our stay at this resort we will definitely be back

The food was horrible. You have to book reservations 24 hours in advance for dinner. The only lunch and breakfast spots are 2 buffets and both serve the same items. There is no pool side ordering of food. You cannot take any food with you. All the restaurants were pretty bad and the service was awful. The waiters stand around until you flag them down and they usually tell you no or begrudgingly do the task. There are also 2 “food trucks” that serve lunch. One is hot dogs and (some days) hamburgers and the other one is random things. The trucks are filthy and the food from them was awful. No wonder why so many people get food poisoning at this resort. There is one restaurant not included in package. We were desperate so we paid $200 to eat there. It was pretty bad as well. Everything tasted off. There are 2 kid pools. The water is over-chlorinated and my kids broke out with some rash. The rooms were okay. Our beds were hard as rocks. Swim out pool was nice but no access to a bar or drinks so stranded during kids nap time. Drinks come in tiny plastic cups (that are washed and reused - filthy). One type of awful beer. Beach is pretty but far walk from resort. The resort is huge. You have to walk very far (with all your pool/beach items) or take the “train”. It can take 10-15 mins to pick you up (I waited 38 mins once) and sometimes is full. You have to literally run and claim a seat. It was madness. Restrictions and limitations everywhere. Would NOT recommend.

This is the fifth time that my family and I go and we always leave satisfied, without a doubt the customer service and the service make the difference, this time we stayed in a swimout room and the experience was very fun, highlighting Maria's service in the bar in front of the water park and Jocefina in the main buffet two jewels of the princess!

I arrived at 6pm with 3 small children and my a/c wasnt working till 9pm after calling several times. 3 lightbulbs werent working, barely lightening. The housekeeping staff is rude. The bathrooms are really tiny and very dirty, mostly the toilets the housekeeping staff doesn't clean very well. There isnt a full length mirror. The crib looked like it has been around for 300 years. My bed would make noises everytime I move. I had a swim up and the pool smelled like eggs. The restaurant staff at most restaurants arent nice especially focaccia. The food isnt good the drinks arent good. My baby caught hand foot and mouth here. Honestly had the worst experience ever!! 0 stars I cant believe this place is open.

I really enjoyed my stay at Princess Bavaro family club . I went with my children who are 8 and 10 for 4 nights and 5 days. We had the swim out pool which was very convenient and private in a way. The room gets pretty wet but that’s okay. My kids were in the water most of the day lol. The staff were great! They were all very nice and welcoming! I had an issue with the bathroom sink and spoke to reception and they took care of the problem right away.I made reservations at Focaccia (Italian), Hacienda(Mexican), and Tanukiteppanyaki (Japanese) which was our favorite! The food was very good and our chef Diego made the hibachi experience very personable. The kids liked the Mordisco buffet, the Hispaniola buffet was okay… it had a lot of variety BUT I wish they had more authentic Dominican food . I didn’t have a lot of alcoholic drinks but when I did the drinks weren’t that great. The beach is breath taking! The sand, the water, and the food trucks of course lol. The shows and live music in the lobby were awesome! I LOVED Cappuccino Coffee (café). Btw I wish they had a full body mirror in the room, I couldn’t see how I looked in my bathing suits/ outfits. But overall it was an amazing experience for the kids and I. I recommend this resort.

Stay away from this resort! We stayed 10 days. My husband got food poisoning and both kids got hand foot mouth. Daughter had severe. They are only adding clarifier in the pool to make it look clear. Cannot smell chlorine. They worry more about keeping grounds clean than anything else. We had ants in our room, mold in bathroom. Room smelled like septic , bathroom had septic smell too. When we complained they didn’t do anything. In fact, they told us to stay in the room so other guests don’t get scared from how our daughter looked. If they complained we would get kicked out of the hotel . Be aware! Multiple cases of hfm were reported and guest services lied and said they don’t know about it! Met multiple other families with same issues. We were forced to go to ER outside of resort to get clearance to fly home. Paid over $1000 and child was not even examined. Save your money and don’t go here! We spent most of our vacation in the room due to hfm and food poisoning. They make great presentation of food in front in buffet but the kitchens in the back look worse than a barn. Stay away!

Concerning your perception about our service, we honestly understand your point of view and we want to express our deepest apologies if you did not feel satisfied with the service we offered but we totally disagree as basically most of our guests have an excellent perception of our services and premises giving a minority to different opinions between good and poor. In relation to the medical experience that unfortunately your niece experienced at our hotel, we cannot deny that she may have contracted this disease but it is simply impossible that this virus has been contracted in our hotel because it is not until the third day when the symptoms appear. Everybody knows that hand, foot and mouth disease is a very contagious and spreads quickly and is spread by direct contact with mucosa or saliva, touching an infected person or making other close contact, like kissing, hugging, sharing cups or eating utensils. Very respectfully, we want to tell you that the next time you travel with an infant, you will be better informed about all the risks that exist in order to protect your children. It is not true that there are more similar cases in our property because so far we do not have any reports, perhaps your frustration derives from the amount of money you had to pay but we remind you that the medical center located inside the hotel is an independent entity that It has nothing to do with us and for your information there are more medical centers outside the hotel with better rates. This was our second year at the Princess Family club, and it was another great family vacation! The staff really cares about kids and makes sure the whole family is having an enjoyable time. One thing to note is that in 2023 there were many fun evenings for the kids, different competitions and events, which wasn't the case this year. My 7 year old missed that the most. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for fun and relaxing time. Definitely planning on coming back in 2025. Very family friendly and the rooms are cool for kids with bunk beds, not many resorts offer the bunk bed situation, but this one does.

If you are just looking for a nice beach it is an option that you could consider, however, there are bunch of other things that are very bad. Non of the food options are authentic. They don’t have any good options for vegan, gluten free or vegetarian. Indian restaurant food is pathetic, and it is nowhere near to Indian food.

It is a beautiful resort with a wide, clean and beautiful beach which was the biggest draw for us and it didn’t disappoint. Room was spacious for a family of five - three kids, and clean. All the kids attractions - slides, kids club - great. We loved everything except the breakfast buffet - food was just not good in the morning. The best dining options were at dinner time with multiple restaurants - food was great there. If not for this I’d give 5 stars.

"Great Family Stay with Room for Minor Improvements - Will Return!" Review: We recently stayed at the Princess Family Club Bavaro and overall, we were very pleased with our experience. The resort is impressively well-maintained and expansive, providing ample space for families to enjoy. One of the highlights was the variety of food available; the selections were great although some dishes could benefit from a bit more attention to detail in their preparation. The staff, especially in the kids' club, deserves a special mention. Andry and Nancy, along with their team, were fantastic—always engaging and making our children feel welcome. Similarly, the entire waitstaff and hosts were impeccably dressed, super attentive, and performed their roles exceptionally, always with kindness. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the beach areas, though we were somewhat surprised by how early one must rise to reserve beach and pool chairs—a minor inconvenience in an otherwise relaxing environment. In conclusion, our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Princess Family Club Bavaro and are looking forward to our next visit. The few areas for improvement do not overshadow the many positives that made our stay memorable.

the property was beautiful and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms were kept extremely clean, even against the constant introduction of sand! The only thing that was not great was that the most popular pool, close to the beach, got a little dirty by the end of the day. Food was ok also.

We went there for 6 nights and we had a pleasant stay. Everything is well maintained. If you want to go with a kid you would love the place. The things that they need little improvements are wifi connection (it's good but sometimes gets disconnected, needs reconnection) and someone the areas of resort wifi signal is very poor. The other part that probably needs an improvement is nightly improvement, they don't have a club or not many night entertainments compared to other resorts.

Buffet schedules were convenient for trips, never had to wait in line for a table like in other resorts. Staff was very helpful and happy to serve. Great restaurant selection, easy to reserve through an app. Loved the Karaoke sessions at the 24/7 pub and how easy it was to select and queue your favorite songs through an app! Most popular songs are there! Wished the karaoke were extended a little longer, they end at 12. I would come back just for the karaoke and friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed the stay very much! Here now on our 3rd day. By absolutely no means is this a 5 star resort. First off if u book the family club it doesn't include everything but if you want everything you have to go platinum which can be up to $70 per day per person (kids cheaper) You cant even get fresh towels by the beach you have to take a 10ish minute shuttle (plus wait time) to go back to your room area. pools are falling apart kids constantly bringing us tiles. So far food has not been good at all maybe if u go platnum the food at the exrea 3 placed youd get would be better. Like most places staff is mixed some nice some seemed annoyed to be there but seemed to be more of the annoyed then nice. The kids club is a joke. There is one by our rooms but they dont do anything there. The main one is by the beach and no ac in there nor do they really do anything with the kids (maybe 1/2 activities a day) and if you want to go back to your room they are by thw beach which means the shuttle again. Now lets talk about the pool by the beach and the beach. They allow vendors to walk around both so your constantly being bombarded by them. (More so on the beach) Drinks have been ehh my wife drinks regular margaritas on the rocks and hasn’t been able to find any decent bartender to make one. So shes been drinking playa del Caribbean its ok but not what she wants. The actual beach is gorgeous and they do a decent job on upkeep on the seaweed. Were not early people so finding chairs hasn't been hard.

We stayed with 2 little girls and we loved everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful, lots of restaurants and food options. The family room was clean and great with bunk bed and cute little bunnies outside. We loved their kids club, we left our kids there several times and they were safe and well cared for. The woman working there Regina took care of our girls. They also had fun in aqua park and in the jungle and watching peacocks and ducks. We would love to come back!

Great beach resort for families food was excellent with many varieties. We loved the food trucks and buffet at the beach . Although the drinks were not the best quality the beer was cold and good. Bartenders could have been more friendly and entertaining but rest of the staff was very nice and respectful. We would come back definitely .

Initial booking showed a price then upon arrival we had to pay an extra guest. The initial booking was two children and two adults, but when we arrived it showed a child and an infant, so we had to pay an extra $530 for the extra child (5 yrs old). Not very happy with that.

We stayed at the Princess family club and it was so beautiful and perfect for kids. We had the junior suite swim up room which was an essential for us while our little one slept. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The food was okay. I felt that the buffet foods were sitting for awhile or refried for the buffet opening. The food at the buffets felt somewhat dense and overcooked at most times. I preferred to go to the cooks and ask them to make my omelette / steaks at hand instead of eating from the buffet. The restaurants were nice. Our favourite was the Tanuki restaurant where the food seemed fresh and made with entertainment. We will be back!
