We love everything about our trip to beautiful Bavaro Punta Cana. Place was amazing, clean and everything was so nice. We felt like home . View from balcony priceless . Great location. Great stay
Property was just like the pictures. Ilea was very responsive and helpful and Mary, the cleaner was great. It was a really nice bonus to have someone come and clean up the sand and tidy up the apartment every other day especially with a 10 day stay. I literally checked in and didn’t have to worry about a thing! If we come back to the DR, we would definitely rent from ilea again!

Family vacation
My family and I stayed here for 2 nights before we headed to a resort for the rest of our trip. The beach here was beautiful and the condo was exactly as pictured. The host was great at communicating with us and very helpful with setting up transportation for us. Unfortunately there were a couple things that made our stay subpar. The cleanliness of the place was not up to our expectations. There was little hairs and dirt all over the bathroom. The sheets and overall cleanliness of some of the beds was not the best. There was visible dust, hair, dirt, etc. If you are the type of person who pays attention to little details and expect perfection, then you will not like it here. Also the biggest other issue was the air conditioning!!! It was not working in multiple areas of the house. We are a big family and some of us had to sleep outside, and the rest crammed into the master bedroom because we could not stand the heat. The house was at 80+ degrees Fahrenheit our whole entire trip. Each area in the house had its own separate unit, but some of the units were not working or would take too long to begin to cool. Overall it was a beautiful beach, and the apartment matched the pictures but because of the lack of cleanliness and air conditioning issues I can’t give it a 5 star review.

Ilia is a fantastic host: she always replied to my questions or recommendations in the folowing minutes. She is very flexible and will do all she can to accomodate you. The unit is extremely well located and a exactly like the pics provided. Mary, the maid, is very helpful and efficient, even though she speaks only Spanish. She also made us a dinner which was really good and recommend to use that service. Unfortunately, there was seaweeds on the beach at that moment, which is not our host fault since ALL the resorts on that beach had the same problem but it did not prevent us to enjoy the warm sea water and the very nice pool in the complex. I recommend 100% this rental with Ilia, it was a great vacation.

The condo is very clean with a wonderful view. Ilia is great. There is a bar/restaurant onsite while taking in the beach. The beach can/does have seaweed. They have workers that clear it. Mary is a rockstar! Definitely recommend having her cook. The best surprise was how walkable it is - this is understated in the description. Right behind the condo complex is kind of a vibrant downtown area. There are many wonderful restaurants, shops, etc. Great service, live music, and hospitality. For example, there is a brilliant cigar shop and an authentic Italian pizza shop - real wood fired ovens from Italy! And much more! There are a lot of people trying to sell things on the beach and they like to sell the kids - this is annoying so be prepared for it. Our two best excursions were a private boat to Saona and Catalina. Highly recommend these! The palm trees, starfish, food, colors were magnificent! Overall the property and DR exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

We absolutely loved the property. It’s exactly as shown in the pictures. Nice and close to restaurants. Perfect view of the ocean from our hugh balcony. Pool was great and weather was awesome. The maid Mary was very friendly, and when she saw my friend crocheting, she picked up the crocheting to show her that she knew how to do it too. We had a good laugh over that. We would definitely go back again. It was great!!

Nice place to stay at, close to everything you need. Steps to the beach. Beautiful view. Delicious restaurants just outside the complex. Ilia was very good at responding to anything we needed and was also open to suggestions. Safe area and lots of friendly people. We would definitely visit again.

No worries. Very nice stay.
We found our unit to be very clean and our host very accessible. The condo was nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. The view from the balcony and the living room were amazing. A constant breeze enabled us to forgo the air conditioning altogether. The time of year helped I’m sure. Our housekeeper Mary prepared dinner for us one night and it was the best meal we had all week. I would highly recommend her services. She is a very sweet lady. We contacted Ilia several times with various questions and she always replied promptly. The hot water situation was a little funky but never really an issue. Altogether this is an amazing property. We always felt safe.

Sincerely we had a blast staying in Punta Cana!! I will be back to visit again. Great view of the pools and beach. Restaurant staff was very cordial on the property. Our housekeeper was very attentive as well. She was very kind and hospitable. The only improvement could be possibly having a fan in the main living room to keep guests cool. Check to make sure there's hot water
The condo and location were amazing, but when you're spending more than $300/night, you expect hot water. There was no hot water during our 7-night stay, so we all grew accustomed to cold showers. I have to admit, it was actually somewhat refreshing, but not what I expected. There was clearly an issue before we arrived, and we should have been informed.

Beachfront paradise
This is truly a gem! On walking into the condo, we were stunned by the gorgeous ocean view and the enormous balcony, which is even better in person. The condo is spacious with 3 large bedrooms and a view from the master. We left the windows and doors open at night to enjoy the sound of the ocean and the beautiful breeze. The unit is tastefully decorated and had many extra touches, including some toys for the kids to play with. Mary was wonderful in taking care of us during our stay and Ilia was very quick to respond and always available for anything we needed. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, 2 large pools in the complex and walking distance to a number of restaurants and amenities. We have been to Bavaro numerous times and this was by far our favourite stay. We didn't want to leave and look forward to returning again!

Fantastic condo

Amazing family vacation in Punta Cana
We stayed here during Christmas week. The property is practically beachside. Ilia is an amazing host that is in constant contact making sure everything is perfect. Cleaning is every other day but daily is available. Meals can also be purchased and worth it. We highly recommend this property for a vacation.

This property is amazing. First the owner, Lia, treats you like a VIP. She's responsive to questions and can help with transportation, etc.. Second, the property, it is beautiful. You are literally seconds from the beach. The views are amazing. We spent a week with our two teenage daughters. The condo layout is spacious and everyone had their own bathroom. There were several restaurants that we enjoyed (Citrus, Dolce and Wacamole). We felt safe walking around to the shops and restaurants. There is a grocery store close by that has everything you would need. On the complex is a small bar, Toc, that has great drinks and food as well. Would highly recommend this condo. We loved it.

We can’t wait to plan our return!!
Ilia is a wonderful hostess. From the moment we booked until we arrived safely back home, she was in contact. She was able to answer every question we had and was so helpful. We used Ilia’s recommendation of Pedro for our transportation. He is friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. The condo is exactly as described and shown in photos. It was beautiful and clean when we arrived. The view from the patio is simply stunning and we spent a lot of time soaking in the view and breeze out there. The beach is gorgeous and we walked quite far every morning before it got too hot. We felt 100% safe on the beach at all times. We felt so safe at Playa Turquesa that we had no hesitation in leaving our four kids age 16,15,12 and 8 together in the condo while we walked or ran to Bam Market . Speaking of kids-they all thoroughly loved the entire DR experience including getting to know the locals, adventuring out for meals and the excursions we went on. The pool is just steps away from the condo and it is clean and well maintained. There are limited chairs at the pool but this was not an issue as we were here at a less busy time of year. Favorite restaurants-we LOVED Toc. We also ate at Citrus probably too many times. It’s amazing! Dalias was a wonderful breakfast spot we frequented for coffee and pastries as well as a few sit down meals. We also ate at Wacamole and La Bruja Chupadora BBQ and Pub was a good choice to get some familiar food for our very picky 8 year old. Mary came to clean the condo every other day which was wonderful. We also took advantage of the opportunity to have her cook us an authentic Dominican meal and dessert-amazing! Absolutely take advantage of this. This was such a wonderful way to experience the DR as opposed to a resort. We had the most amazing vacation and miss it so much already. Thank you, Ilia, for all of your hospitality.

Magnificent Condo in Punta Cana
Our stay at Playa Turquesa was absolutely perfect. The location offered us miles of beautiful beach right outside our front door and numerous restaurants, grocery stores and shopping all within walking distance. Our condo was very spacious and offered all the amenities to make our stay very comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better host , who treated us like VIP guest through the entire process.

Great Getaway
The condo was perfect for our family. We loved the set-up of the bedrooms which each had a bathroom. The view was incredible from the deck. The Property Manager was wonderful and very attentive to our every need. The condo was located near great restaurants and a grocery store that was walking distance. The restaurant Citrus was our favorite. We also enjoyed Toc, which is a beach side restaurant right in front of our condo. There was plenty of places to lounge at the beach and shaded areas as well. Lia is an amazing host, she is very professional her staff is amazing and very accommodating to everything you need . She literally responds to every text or email in a timely fashion. She provided everything we needed. I would recommend staying here if your going to DR she help us with our whole vacation including transportation and covid testing. She is amazing her apartment is perfect looks exactly like the pictures very spacious clean welcoming and gives you a homely vibe. Overly I give her 1000% rating if I could. The area was amazing and the beach was phenomenal!!!

Absolutely lovely stay - the terrace overlooked the ocean with a gorgeous view and was safe enough to leave the doors and windows open at night to let the sea breeze and noise in. Apartment was clean and maid came twice during our 5 days stay to clean. Owner was very prompt in responding to our questions and helpful with logistics. Neighborhood outside of the property isn't the best, but if you stay on the the property itself, it is fine. Location and access to the beach (2 minute walk) is hard to beat!

Even better!
We just spent a wonderful week at Illa’s unit and could not be more filled up! The location of the condo is perfect. We actually kept thinking we have to be close as possible to the beach, and whims this is the 3rd condo back, it looked honestly just as close to the beach as the others. Views were amazing!! The condo has everything we hoped for and more. We stayed as a couple along with our 3 children, our oldest being 23 and youngest, who has autism at 12 and everyone had a blast! No question, our favorite thing was getting to know many of the locals! The people are just amazing! We always felt safe. We ventured off the property quite a bit and never felt worried. We loved all the restaurants around but definitely loved citrus the most! Gotta try their ceviche! Mary was a wonderful help as she came in 3 days during our stay to clean and heels with anything we needed. Illa- you are such an incredible host and an above and beyond host!! Blessed and full

This condo met all our needs. Great location very close to pool and beach. Unfortunately, our weather wasn’t the greatest, only one really nice day out of the week. We had a couple of plumbing issues, but the owner was prompt in responding and having them taken care of quickly. Would love to come back one day!

Wonderful apartment in a perfect setting
First and foremost, the communication with the owner, Ilia, was outstanding! She is super responsive, usually within minutes. She arranged our airport pickup by Pedro, a charming taxi driver, who stopped at the large Jumbo supermarket on the way to the condo. The condo is beautiful, as described on the website. The view is spectacular and we loved being able to hear the ocean at night, lying in bed. The beach is gorgeous and the chaise lounges were very comfortable as they all have cushions. Maria, the house cleaner made us a spectacular taco dinner which my daughter said was her favorite meal of the trip! The BAM supermarket is very close and has most essentials you need. There are many restaurants within a 5-7 min walk. Our favorites were Citrus, and TOC (right on the beach in the complex) We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!

No Better Place To Stay In Bavaro
For anyone heading to the Dominican Republic, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time looking for any other condo. They don't come better than this one. The owner, Ilia is by far the the best we've ever dealt with, so helpful with every detail of our trip. The condo itself is exactly as shown in the photos and is located in the building with absolutely the best views in the complex. Mary the Housekeeper does a great job, and is very helpful. The beautiful grounds are professional manicured. Property security is top notch. Five stars are not enough.

Perfect family condo
Ilia, the owner, was great to work with. We had her arrange our taxi to and from the airport which was seamless. Check in with the complex was a bit slow due to new staff, but once we arrived at the condo everything was great. The complex is guarded and very safe. The condo itself was just as pictured and very clean. It was very comfortable for my husband and I, as well as our 2 adult daughters. We LOVED the view from the balcony and spent lots of time relaxing there. The adjacent bar and grill, called TOC, had very friendly staff, great drinks and yummy food(try the omelette). The beach loungers were clean and plentiful, but there is not much shade to be found if you are looking for that. Mary, the maid, cooked us dinner one evening which was AMAZING! Do NOT leave without having her make a meal for you! The nearby markets have all the essentials and there are several really great restaurants within walking distance. I suggest Citrus for dinner and Daliahs for coffee/breakfast/lunch. Warning - electricity in PC is expensive. We barely ran the AC and lights for 6 days, but still had a $75 overage. Overall, our experience with the condo was fabulous!

Our family of 5 just returned from a week stay at this Condo and it was fabulous! From booking the property, arranging travel to and from the airport, to following up with us at the end of our stay, Ilia was very helpful and available anytime we had questions. The property was just as listed, clean, spacious and a perfect, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. We used the balcony a lot during our stay - breakfast in the morning or for just relaxing after a day spent at the beach. The location of the property is perfect: a very short distance to the beach and pool, and a short walk to the grocery store and many restaurants. We frequented the BAM Market many times for small grocery needs. We were fortunate to visit the TOC Beach Bar/Restaurant the first couple days we were there - which had amazing service and good food (unfortunately for us, they closed for renovations while we were there, but understand that that has to occur at some point). Nearby on the beach is the Huracan Café and Soles restaraunts which were great as well to grab a drink or lunch/dinner - atmosphere of both is very nice. The Beach in front of the Condo is nice, it does have seaweed (that's mother nature for you), but the grounds crew does an excellent job of cleaning it up daily, unlike some of the condos nearby. Ilia arranged a taxi driver, Pedro, for us to pick us up and bring us back to the airport. Pedro was great and we ended up calling him for rides several times during our stay (shopping and to Macao Beach). We took a couple of excursions off property that I would highly recommend: Saona Island and Macao Beach both had amazing beaches. We also did a zip line excursion which was a ton of fun! All in all, I would highly recommend this property for a vacation in the Dominican Republic, you won't be disappointed!

Six of us stayed at Playa Turquesa in a very nice unit with great views of the ocean. Unit J302 was perfect for 6 adults with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Ilia did a great job arranging our pick up from the airport and return on the day we left. Nice grocery store with all of our needs basically on the grounds. At least a dozen nice places to eat and drink within two blocks. Some nice places on the beach as well within walking distance with one of the best right on property. Would stay here again and would recommend for adults like our group or a family.

Illa was so easy to work with and her maid Mary was wonderful and illa's arrangements for taxi to and from the airport made travel days so much easier.! Would definitely stay here again.!

Wonderful Stay in Punta Cana
We stayed in this condo for 10 days, and it was a home away from home. It was immaculate and all our needs were met. Lia was great to answer any questions immediately and made things easy. Mary cleaned and Pedro picked us up at the airport and took us back. The weather was just beautiful. We took some jackets but did not need them. We would definitely go back.

Relaxing Family Vacation.....
We were looking for a family vacation destination without the need for several hotel rooms. This condo was ideal in that it provided lots of living space to spread out including a huge and comfortable patio with awesome ocean views. Lia was very easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay and arranged transportation to and from the airport. Although we stopped at Jumbo Supermarket on the way to the condo, we could have found everything we needed at one of the two smaller markets within a short walk of the condo. There are also plenty of restaurants within a short walk of the complex and we also frequented TOC Restaurant /Bar on the property's beach. All in all a very lovely condo and vacation experience. A clean, beautiful condo with an amazing patio facing the ocean
Ilia was amazing to work with- very quick to answer any questions I had. We also had great service from the maid, Maria and the taxi driver, Pedro. We loved the location of the condo and thoroughly enjoyed the beach restaurant/bar Toc that as so close by. Citrus restaurant was very close as well and had amazing food there several times during our stay. The only negatives were the stove had 6 gas burners but only one kind of worked, the refrigerator doesn’t get cold enough for beer, so we had to go to the market close by every day to get ice for our rolling cooler/ I highly recommend bringing one- but these minor inconveniences didn’t take away from our great stay- I would definitely rent this place again! Everyone we talked to that were staying at the resorts had complaints about the food and drinks. We are glad we chose this option.

What a view!!
Stayed here with another couple and it was such a great decision! I definitely recommend staying at this location. The condo was very spacious for four adults and just as described - three bedrooms each with their own bathroom (shower as well). The view from the balcony cannot be beat! The beach is honestly within a minute's walk from the condo building. However, sometimes just enjoying the view from the balcony was simply satisfying. The condo truly has everything you need while you are there - full-sized refrigerator/freezer, ice trays, dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, etc. The condo grounds are very well-kept, just like you would see at a resort. I think they may spray for mosquitoes so you really don't have to worry about them very much. We got bitten just a few times but nothing to be concerned about. We only went to the pool (nearest the condo) a couple times, which was fine, but we never saw a bartender at the swim-up bar during our time (Sunday - Friday). Not an issue for us though, as we provided our own beverages. The beach area was great - soft, white sand and plenty of chairs to sit on. The beach bar is a little pricey though - 700 RD for two drinks. Ilia was great and very responsive. We had just a minor issue our first night but Ilia made sure it was resolved by the next afternoon. Mary was also very easy to work with and made check-in and check-out smooth. I highly recommend having Mary prepare a meal for you! I took the advice from another review and had Mary prepare our meal for the evening we arrived in Punta Cana - seriously one of the best decisions we made all week! Manuel from the taxi was also great. We only used him to/from the airport but he spoke English very well and patiently waited for us while we shopped at Super Pola on our way to the condo. The area around the condo has several restaurants and two grocery stores. We frequented BAM the most and it provided our necessities - alcohol and water, of course :) They have a pretty good selection of food as well so if you forgot something, don't worry about it - BAM will very likely have it. The prices weren't too bad at BAM but I highly recommend stopping at Super Pola prior to getting to the condo. If I had to change anything, I would suggest some plastic tumblers (only glasses in the condo) and a larger cooler to use at the pool/beach - the cooler provided is small for us Midwestern folks ;) Regardless, you won't regret your decision to stay here!

Amazing Condo
My husband and I spent the most relaxing vacation we have every had at this amazing condo. The pictures definitely do it justice, the deck and view was our favorite part. During our 12 day stay, Mary the housekeeper came in every other day, and kept everything spotless! The beach was everything we were hoping for, along with the grounds the condo was located on. The market was close and convenient, along with several restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here!! Thanks Ilia, we really appreciated you renting us the condo, and look forward to coming back in the future.

Wonderful Property and Experience
We enjoyed 10 days at this beautiful condo. Everything looked just like to pictures and the beach is incredibly close. Ilia was easily accessible for any questions which arose and always answered back right away. Mary (the maid) was very sweet and, although she did not speak english, we were able to communicate with her without any issues. Also, the Ilia arranged for a driver for airport pickup and drop off which worked out great. We stopped at the supermarket on the way from the airport to the condo and the driver gave us his discount card for the store. We did not rent a car and found numerous places to eat and buy foodstuffs just outside the condo complex. We went on one snorkeling excursion and they picked us up right from the condo. Whether we were at the beach, eating out, sitting on the balcony or just watching TV, we found this vacation to be excellent and would not hesitate to recommend it to someone.

Fantastic view!
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The view from the patio is amazing. The condo was clean and spacious enough for 5 adults. The grounds are well kept and the area felt very safe. We made our owns meals most of the time and made use of the local supermarket every day (5 minute walk from the condo). There are lots of restaurant options within walking for guests who don’t want to cook. The owner was always quick to respond through whatsapp whenever we had questions. We would recommend this condo without hesitation.

Great stay at Bavaro!
The apartment is very well equiped and ideal for a family. Very close to a wonderful beach, benefiting from a large terrace with an amazing view. The apartment is large, has been recently refurnished and renewed. Decoration is very pleasant too. We had the opportunity to have the maid coming every 2 days so that the apartment was always clean. The condo is safe, close to shops and pharmacy, but it is also very quite. Having breakfast on the terrace every morning enjoying a wonderful view on the sea and the beach was a real moment of joy. Moreover, the contacts with the owner were always excellent. Ilia was very helpful, provided us a lot of tips and arranged a lot of things for us. Definitively, we enjoyed a great stay at Bavaro in this apartment and we recommand it.
