"I stayed three nights in a single room. I enjoyed that hotel was separated from the downtown by a short walk. There was a lot of lounge space for relaxing throughout the place. The neighborhood was great with lots of amenities. The staff were excellent. They were all so friendly and made sure that I was very comfortable. They even asked if I had any preference for breakfast and knew my name when I came down. I used the off-street parking. It was gated and very secure. Definitely not a sterile...

"The building is very charming and the grounds are lovely. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the food was good. That being said, the pictures and description are a little misleading. The hotel is not on the shore of Lake Llanquehue. It has a large pond that it borders (as shown in the picture for the hotel). Although the pond was nice and included a rowboat which guests can use at anytime, there were hundreds of very noisy birds, detracting from what could be a very tranquil experience....

"It is a very charmy and historic house located a few minutes walking from the lake and puerto Varas city centre. Wifi was a bit hit and miss but there is a parking space and the hosts were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and the room while not very big was clean and comfortable. Would recommend"

"Faded glory hotel which is in need of total refurbishment. Access is via very dusty rough unmade steep drive which damaged our rental car tyres. Long walk from town, hidden down unmade road above R5. Our room 202 had no window, was dirty and absolutely no sound proofing. Wires hanging out of wall, shower was white plastic which was not secure to stand in and creaked alarmingly when stood in. Shower enclosure was hanging via a chain attached to a small hook in ceiling. Ceiling in bedroom...

"Very friendly staff, very spacious comfortable room with great shower and tub. It had a free breakfast that was brought directly to our room at the time that we requested. Large windows gave us a great view of the beach. The bed and floor looked less than immaculate but were certainly clean enough. I would recommend this hotel."
