    When we booked this hotel we weren't expecting much because of the price. We just wanted somewhere to stay close to the falls that had a pool we could use in the afternoons.The pool was the best part. The room was clean but in desperate need of redecorating. Walls were stained and marked, paint peeling and furniture falling apart. The aircon worked but made a terrible noise. The onsite restaurant is convenient but is very basic with a limited menu and expect cold food. You can buy a limited selection of drinks at reception which can be enjoyed by the pool. And hes there are about 4 roosters on site.…

After my cold shower, the hot water magically started working. The next day I decided to wait with it running and then some hot water trickled through. Pool was full of dead bugs and tree stuff. There was apparently no effort at all to keep it clean while I was there from what I could see. Not pleasant! And when I needed an extra towel for the pool (I had just used mine to shower and it was soaked owing to it being tiny and thin), they said they had none left! And to wait till 4pm! It was around 9am. A bit ridiculous. The reception area where there is a lounge etc was noisy. They seemed to have been doing some building work of some sort with saw dust left over the floor too. On the plus side the staff were friendly. This has put me off the idea of ever staying in a hostel again.…
