    The Space:

    Waterfall Sea Cottage is a charming 2 bedroom cottage with breathtaking views from every window. Enjoy the warmth of the massive fireplace with gas logs, or relax on the spacious deck overlooking the waterfalls. Use our kayak and 2 stand up paddle boards to put in the water on high tide, enjoy your steak and lobster dinner and then chill for smores around the fire pit. The Maine skies will amaze you nightly. Ideally located in this fishing town in Downeast Maine, it is close enough to Acadia National Park, Canada, and amenities for a peaceful retreat of an adventure-filled escape.



    This is a one floor waterfront home with 2 bedrooms and one spacious bathroom.

    Main bedroom: This bedroom has tons of storage, a dedicated workspace overlooking the water for your laptop, and a Queen sized bed.

    Bedroom 2: The TV is in this room with a trundle bed that makes into two twin beds. There is a bureau for storage and books galore.

    Bathroom: Updated walk in shower and plenty of space.

    Kitchen: Has a gorgeous stone wall on one end, updated appliances, and plenty of cooking supplies for all of your meals at home.

    Living room/Dining room: A huge stone fireplace sets the mood for the room, romance, nostalgia and memories! There is a dining room table facing the water in this open concept space. Walk out to the spacious deck to grill, or sip on your morning coffee.



    ** Your one small to medium sized dog is welcome with pre-approval, a pet agreement and a pet fee.

    There are 2 bicycles in the shed that you are welcome to use at your own risk.

    1 single kayak and 2 stand up paddle boards are available for your use with a water waiver signed in advance. Use at your own risk.



    Within a short walk or drive are churches, a library, the Navy base and light house, banks, groceries, antique shops, two ponds for swimming and fishing, and bicycle and kayak rentals. Schoodic Point, a spectacular part of Acadia National Park is only 5 miles from the house as well!

    Winter Harbor Ferry to Bar Harbor is 3 miles.

    Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park is 35 miles

    Ellsworth for Hannafords, Shaws, shopping, restaurants, antiquing is 15 miles

The property we stayed at in the Corea neighborhood of Gouldsboro, ME was absolutely beautiful! The property and the view from the back deck is nothing short of stunning, and relaxing at the same time. Talk about getting away from it all! While it takes 50 minutes to an hour to get to activities near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, we found that being a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the heavily touristed area was a huge bonus.There are many restaurants and shopping options within half an hour of the house, but the places that kept us going--The Pickled Wrinkle Restaurant, MC's Groceries & Gas and Me and Jones Ice Cream--were the best go-to places and only 5 minutes away!The house is a gorgeous little thing: 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It's snug and cozy for sure--and the kitchen has everything you'd need.We had a great stay and would recommend this property highly--for any visitors who will enjoy a smaller rental home. PS: While the house isn't that big, the property is huge and beautiful.

We loved everything about the cottage! You lacked for nothing. The cottage, the deck, and the view were spectacular! Great restaurants, beaches nearby. And the wildlife!!! There were foxes and deer with their fawns, and two families of geese! Could not have asked for better. We will be back! Thank you.
