Between the golf course and the lanai is the Queen's Carriage tree tunnel trail where you can walk in about 5 minutes to a secluded stretch of Anini Beach where you can swim and snorkel. Numerous world class surf spots including Hanalei Bay, Anini Beach, and Kalihiwai Beach are a 10 minute drive. You can walk to the Princeille Shopping Center, the Princeville Library, or the park in 10 minutes or less. Recently remodeled with a brand new bathroom and kitchen, new furniture and Island style décor, this is one of the better deals in Princeville. There is a privacy wall by the bed separating the bed from the living area. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a washer & drier, an electric stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, a blender, and a toaster and is stocked with a variety of kitchen utensils, place settings for 8, and a full size refrigerator. We are located in the back of Paniolo in one of the most peaceful locations. Our quaint condo is the perfect romantic getaway for couples. My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay. The studio apartment was perfect for us and allowed us to completely relax. The apartment had an umbrella, chairs, snorkel gear, and anything you need for the beach. I was so shocked by that! The location is unmatched. We were able to walk to the Princeville farmers market on Saturday as well as walk to the market when we needed to. We did two weeks on Kauai- One week at Ward & Paula's, one week at a property on the south shore and one final property on Oahu. Ward & Paula's place in Princeville takes the cake. Had we done our trip in reverse and stayed at Ward & Paula's last I would have tried to convince my husband we needed to stay longer. Quiet property, walking distance to the grocery store and everything you would need. Wyllie's beach was a gem & was probably the best beach we visited for swimming (I wish we knew that before we came and we would have spent more time there). We loved coming "home" after a hot day of hiking and exploring and going for a swim. We had the pool to ourselves almost everyday, it was the perfect way to wind down. Thank you Ward & Paula for an exceptional stay. If I can convince my husband to travel for 15 hours by plane again we will be back & for longer! ##### Amanda S. Stayed 6 nights in February 2025.Property is close to main road, easy to get to, within walking distance of prob the best priced fresh poke on the island, Foodland. Along with a couple eateries and pubs. The unit is perfect for a couple, very clean, has all the kitchen equipment you could want, covered back patio, variety of tv channels, that we didn’t watch, a nice looking pool, that we didn’t have a chance to try, within walking distance of Wyllie's Beach beach, a steep hike back, but worth it for snorkeling with turtles and rays. Tickle trunk on the porch had beach chairs and toys and snorkels and a boogie board. Washer and dryer in the unit, lots of extra towels, and a few extra for the beach as well. The unit was getting a fresh coat of exterior paint during our stay, should be nice and new looking for the next guests. Would stay here again if it’s available. That side of the island is beautiful and a lot cooler than the other. Definitely more wet, and the sea gets rough in February. But it’s only an hour drive to the hot sunny side, if ya needed to dry out. We had plenty of sun during our stay tho. Thanks again to the host for making their place available for us to stay at. ##### Randy H. The pictures are accurate, but can't really give you the full feeling of roominess that you get when you enter the condo. It is listed as a studio, but the separation of the bedroom area with a screened wall makes it feel like a one bedroom apartment! It is nicely furnished and very clean. It has the best bed we have ever had at a rental. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and the dining area is large and separate from the kitchen. The bathroom is large with a walk in shower! The birds and flowers on the property were amazing to photograph. The swimming pool is a short walk from the front door and has a community bbq. Assigned parking is a big plus! The path behind the unit (you don't see it because of the shrubs) leads down to Anini Beach. The condo is located within walking distance of the market and several restaurants. A short ride in any direction will take you to the various restaurants within the resorts of Princeville! This is a perfect location! The property owner and the manager of the condo are very attentive and easy to reach if needed. We highly recommend this property! ##### Carol J.
