One bedroom two bath beach house over looking the ocean.

One bedroom two bath beach house over looking the ocean.

10/10 Excellent
"Perfect place to stay all around. We enjoyed both the inside space with two full bathrooms and of course the two decks overlooking the water. Great location for exploring Trinity and Bonavista. Great hikes and restaurants nearby. Host was very easy to communicate with and the place was perfectly clean and set up for our 4 night stay."

Tickle Cove Boat House

Tickle Cove Boat House

8/10 Good
"The property is essentially a cabin rather than the regular type of Airbnb accommodation people might expect. It is small but very unique, cozy, and lovely. The view is also very good. I think it would be especially suitable as a romantic getaway for younger couples. The check-in process was smooth and easy. However, it would be helpful to provide clearer driving instructions, as the mobile signal is very poor in Trinity. Unfortunately, my wife and I had some difficulty sleeping during our stay. The night we stayed was extremely rainy and windy, and the strong winds caused the structure to shake noticeably. We could also feel the bed shaking, which kept us awake for much of the night. I understand that this was an unusually windy night and may have been an exceptional situation, but the shaking and rocking of the bed were unexpected. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the unique character of the property, and our stay would have been much better if we had been able to sleep comfortably."

Bellecroft House - Beautifully renovated, stunning water-front getaway property

Bellecroft House - Beautifully renovated, stunning water-front getaway property

10/10 Excellent
"Bellecroft House was amazing ! It’s situated perfectly, at the end of a private road, with a gorgeous view, overlooking the town of Trinity on the other side of the bay, and a lighthouse at the end of the peninsula. It was exactly the type of setting we were looking for with our first trip to Newfoundland. The area was perfect to venture out on short drives to Cape Bonavista Lighthouse, puffin viewing in Elliston, and the Rising Tide Theatre in Trinity. We enjoyed delicious food at the Brightside Bistro, a walkable distance from Bellecroft House. Our Hosts, Lily and Chris were welcoming, accommodating, kind, and always available to communicate with. They have supplied Bellecroft House with all necessities and beyond… the high-quality decor and accessories have been carefully chosen, and show a true pride of ownership. The house was spotlessly clean with spacious, upgraded bathrooms, and comfortable queen beds outfitted with cotton sheets, duvets, and quilts - much appreciated! This house was perfect for our 2-couple group - offering 2 comparable queen bedrooms, each with their own large bathroom. The house is equipped with an excellent heating and cooling system, providing total comfort. If we return to Newfoundland, Bellecroft House will be on our list of stays. It was our favourite accommodation during our 2-week vacation.Perfect and Beautiful, with outstanding Hosts.Thank you Lily & Chris !!"

10/10 Excellent
"The home was beautifully decorated and included all essentials and then some. We loved the location as it was a midpoint between all of the hiking trails we were looking to access. The home was spotless with all new furnishings overlooking a small lake. The property was also easy to locate and close enough and yet far away from HWY 230 to facilitate our travels. Location was very quiet. Furnishings were all very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Host was very accommodating. Excellent property"

"a room with a view! Love the views from these windows in the living room, especially in the serene morning and in the golden sunset. Also like the sauna on the high ground at the back of the house, which helps release some of the fatigue after our hike on the fantastic Skerwink Trail. Overall, it is a great place to stay in Port Rexton."
