Perched upon the iconic ‘face’ of Positano, Casa Sam is a private residence with direct street access, rolling views of the coastline from the main beach and church to the neighbouring town of Praiano.

Casa Sam, a fully furnished Villa offering modern facilities throughout, spread over 3 levels offers a private experience for guests within one of Positano’s more unique properties dating back to the mid 18th century.

Concierge service and a sunset boat trip included for guest when booked at Casa Sam as well as transfer to and from naples for groups of 4 people.

As well as private dinners/cooking classes with the former life long head chef of Da Adolfo.

Any request whatsoever we will do our best to make it possible whilst with us at Casa Sam

Amazing house with a stunning view from the balcony! The house was comfortable with a large kitchen, which had everything needed to cook a large meal. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the morning, as the sun rose and at nighttime when the city lights sparkled. The house is in a nice location, with steps right in front, which led down to the town and beach at the bottom. Adolfo was very attentive and accommodating, helping us set up rides and porter service. We rode the ferry to Positano and highly recommend having porters take your luggage up to the house for you when you arrive.

Excellent location and stay

Adolfo was so helpful in getting us checked in and giving us great restaurant recommendations. All the restaurants he recommended were delicious. We had 4 couples on this trip to Positano and the house was amazing and we never felt crowded. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. You have to be at the house in person because the pictures does no justice to this place. We all were mesmerized by the views and the beauty of Positano. We highly recommend the private chef dinner. It was one of our best meals during our stay in Positano. The house is in walking distance of a lot of the restaurants and shops if you want to do some shopping. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it.

Exceptional Stay in Positano

My family and I came to Positano to end our trip to Italy. I couldn't think of a more perfect place to end our stay! For a group of seven adults (6 couples, 1 single), the house had more than enough space. Adolfo was an incredible host and was so communicative throughout the entire planning process as I'd never been to Positano before. The house had incredible views of Positano and was stylishly decorated. There was plenty of spare towels to use for the beach, a washer and dryer, and a fully stocked kitchen. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Positano and would definitely rent again!

Such a great discovery!

Casa Sam is such a great discovery, it is at the top of Positano with beautiful views and easy access to the street and stairs (literally both are right outside the front door). The house is great for a family, the kitchen is updated and modern, and the house is definitely nicer than it appears in the photos. Adolfo and Ettore were both super helpful and went above and beyond. We were planning our trip on the fly and they were able to help us get dinner and boat reservations on short notice. Truly an unforgettable family trip!

Adolfo was very easy to communicate with and helped with all we needed. The property has street access which is a must in Positano! Huge space with lots of balconies. Beautiful views. Perfect space for our adult kids to have their own space, but still be able to be together.

The BEST!

4 couples stayed at Casa Sam and i can tell you, it was spectacular! 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, terraces with views that will take your breath away. Adolfo was our host who easily became our friend! His suggestions for special events, ie private chef in home, cooking class and restaurant ideas were spot on! Already trying to pkan a return adventure!

Wonderful experience

What a special spot! I booked this for 4 girlfriends, and it couldn't have been more perfect! We enjoyed the entire villa from the grotto to the kitchen and all of the outdoor terraces. We also booked the boat ride with Daniel as well as a private cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed everything! I am so grateful for Adolfo's hospitality, recommendations and communication. One of my favorite vacations and experiences, thanks to this amazing villa.

Amazing Villa

Our stay at Casa Sam in Positano was nothing short of extraordinary. As a family of four with two teenagers, along with two other couples, we were treated to an unforgettable experience. Casa Sam is a true gem, and the online photos truly don't do justice to its beauty. The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by its charm and elegance. The villa's interior and décor are impeccable, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The dream kitchen in the villa was a delight for our group, especially those who love to cook. A highlight of our stay was Adolfo, the gracious host of Casa Sam. His hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile for us made our trip truly exceptional. He gave us many recommendations and helped us set up a boat trip around Capri. The panoramic views from Casa Sam are simply breathtaking and enjoyed sitting on the different terraces. The villa's location is ideal. We felt like we were on top of the world. Exploring town was easily done by walking the main road and enjoying all the amazing shops & restaurants or taking stairs right by the house directly to the beach. Casa Sam in Positano is a hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast. The combination of its stunning views, ideal location, dream kitchen, thoughtful amenities, and the warm hospitality of Adolfo made our stay truly unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend Casa Sam to anyone seeking a perfect retreat in this picturesque part of Italy.

Must Stay Here in Positano

Casa Sam is an absolute gem of a property in Positano! I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience. We had 8 adults (4 couples) and I'm not sure you can find a better layout for a group this size in Positano. All 4 rooms were spacious and comfortable. Each couple had their own bathroom as well. The views from the terraces cannot be put into words and are absolutely breathtaking! The home is stunning and the best part may be the direct street access. If you've been to Positano you likely know how difficult the steps with bags can be... not at Casa Sam! Adolfo is the best host I've had the pleasure of meeting and made our entire trip extremely enjoyable and super easy! Excellent communication pre-trip, during our stay as well as post-trip. He answered any and all questions. Helped us setup two boat excursions, one day trip to Capri as well as a second boating day on his father's boat exploring the coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip with his father! Last but not least we also scheduled the private in home dinner for our last night. The private dinner is a must for each group lucky enough to stay at Casa Sam in my opinion. It doesn't get any better! We will be back and we will not ever stay at another property as long as Casa Sam is an option!

Incredible experience in Positano

The villa is stunning with unbelievable views. Adolfo was very communicative and offered recommendations on everything from restaurants to porter service for luggage. The space is very large and 8 adults stayed there very comfortably. A modern and well equipped kitchen was a very nice touch. Overall a 5 star experience.

The villa was FLAWLESS! I have never been in a more beautiful home with an absolutely stunning view! The interior decor was so stunning and the host was so easy to keep in touch with! Heaven on Earth!

My friends and I stayed at Casa Sam in August 2022. From the time I booked this property, Adolfo was very responsive with all my questions and sent tons of recommendations of things to do along with great restaurants to eat at. Positano is literally heaven on earth! The Villa is even more fabulous in person than online. Pictures don’t do it justice. The best views and the best location. I highly recommend booking this Villa! We will definitely be back.

Perfect in every way

Our experience in Positano was made amazing by staying at this property and Adolfo. Adolfo would respond quickly whenever I reached out. He even helped me book transportation from the train station to his property. The property is absolutely beautiful. I already have friends and family requesting the link to book for their own trips. The views from the multi-level patio areas are stunning. Location was great. Will absolutely book this property whenever I’m lucky enough to return to Positano.

Never wanted to leave!

Everyone in our group agreed this is an all-time favorite rental! The house is beautiful, well-equipped, and has so many perfect spots indoor and out for hanging out. It very comfortably fit our group of 5, and we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace in the mornings, and playing cards in the kitchen in the evenings. The history of the house makes it extra special, and I was inspired by the art hanging and exciting book collection. The view is incredible and location is great - within easy access of restaurants and walkable to the beach, but also removed and peaceful. Adolfo was incredibly warm and welcoming, easy to reach, and helpful with recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Couldn’t have been more perfect. It felt like home from the moment we crossed the threshold. Thank you Adolfo. The remodeled 12th century had everything we needed. Unparalleled views. Stairs that helped us work off all the pizza and pasta. We hope to be back next year.

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Adolfo’s villa! This was the best rental home we’ve ever stayed at. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the terraces had incredible views. Adolfo helped us with booking shuttles, boat, and meal reservations and was in contact throughout our entire stay. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone visiting Positano!

Stunningly beautiful and well appointed

Wow experience from prior to check in and throughout the stay! Historic, gorgeous, peaceful, comfortable, with amazing views and garden terraces, this house exceeded expectations. The kitchen is well equipped and beautifully designed. The bedrooms have good climate control and are very comfortable. The house has essentials including coffee, laundry, and filtered water. It’s close to a bus stop, although we trekked the stairs both ways to the beach multiple times for the workout. Note the property is built into the hill so there are stairs inside. The interior bedroom gets a bit of noise from the passersby, but overall when the windows are closed the rooms are fairly quiet. There is a little market just a few feet away for essentials and restaurants close by, as well as a deli/wine store. We especially liked eating at Il Fornillo, one of Adolfo’s recommendations. Adolfo was very helpful making transportation arrangements and answering questions. Of course, the town and water views are amazing. Starting and ending our days taking it all in from the terraces left indelible memories to enjoy!
