Location is great! Close to downtown and airport, with many choices of places to eat! Room was clean, stsndard hotel, ice machine, and we got locked out but when we got back a second key got made & helped a lot. Thank you!
Out of all the hotels I stayed in Portland, this has got to be the best experience I’ve had out any , it’s super friendly, clean and quiet , if you are looking for an adorable room in the Portland area this is your best option

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Filthy rooms- floor, blinds, walls. First room's toilet didn't flush so we switched and the low flow in the second one almost didn't want to flush. The carpet was old and felt wet? Damp? And had a weak spot that felt like I was gonna fall through the floor. The front desk dude WROTE DOWN my credit card number for "additional charges". No no no. Two stars instead of one because the bed was extremely comfortable. Otherwise never again.
Terrible. Dirty, filthy, old, smelly, disgusting, and everything in the room is either broken or unusable, including the shower head, the fridge, the toilet paper holder, the toilet seat, the drawers, and the lights.
Terrible. Dirty, filthy, old, smelly, disgusting, and everything in the room is either broken or unusable, including the shower head, the fridge, the toilet paper holder, the toilet seat, the drawers, the AC, the disgusting pillows, the stained towels, the moldy shower curtains, and the lights.
The room was filthy, and smelled like cigarettes. The sheets smelled like mildew. The bathroom fixtures and some furniture were chewed on by dogs.
In the morning while looking for a missing shoe I looked under the bed, and discovered what looked like several months worth of detritus swept under the bed including a mostly empty bag of dog food.
I generally don't mind staying in budget motels, and I have reasonable expectation's. But the Palms is gross, I would recommend you find different lodging.
Old run-down hotel. Carpet was sticky, comforter had stains and residue, snot rockets were stuck to the ceiling, pillow covers had stains and holes.
Shower water was hot and high pressure, a/c worked great too. Sheets seemed clean.
Cheap place to lay your head for the night.
My boyfriend and I left are room keys in the room by accident. We went to dinner. We got back to the motel at exactly 11pm went to the office and asked the manager to please let us in and he said no. Not until 6am. I was flooded. My boyfriend is 60 had only a short sleeve T-shirt on and slides with no socks. It was 40 degrees outside and raining. He's diabetic and has high blood pressure his meds were in the room. The manager said TOO BAD. I have contacted a lawyer. Palms motel is being sued.
We will win and I'm having them SHUT DOWN
