Beautiful hotel and lovely park across the street. We were able to use a pet friendly suite that had plenty of space for the people and pets. Limited storage space in the room and no microwave, but they did bring one in for us when requested. The fridge was quite small. We were there for 3 days and required a cot/mattress for an extra guest on the last night. We notified front staff on our first night and they said no problem and that they did not need to reserve anything, to just let them know again day of. On the day we needed the mattress we let the desk know on our way out for the day that we needed a cot, again we were told it would be fine. When we returned that night we had not gotten the cot/mattress and when we phoned the front, we were told there were none available. Apparently there are only two mattresses for the whole hotel. We had to go out and purchase our own air mattress, but the hotel did provide extra bedding for us on request. Other than this instance we had a lovely stay.

I booked a room with 2 beds for a family of four through Expedia. We arrived and were told the type of room we reserved did not exist and they in fact had no rooms available. We paid over $250 for a room, but were turned away. Neither Expedia or Aloft want to give us a refund. We did not cancel, we did not fail to show up, we did not show up on the wrong day. They sold us the product that didn’t exist. I would consider that fraud.

A very cool hotel with a refreshing atmosphere, stylishly designed, with excellent customer service. I enjoyed my stay and would return. Two observations: there was live music that I could hear in my room--though it didn't go late and didn't bother me personally--and the eastward/street-side windowsills caught a lot of sun glare in the morning and there didn't seem to be a way to open the shades without it. So a couple of things to keep in mind as far as room selections, but again, I very much enjoyed staying here and would recommend.

sound proof is bad, could help next door neighbor’s kids talking to their mom at 5:30am; property is next to a street where construction trucks often drive by in the morning; bed was extremely short, back and neck hurt after laying in bed for 30 min.
