Property and staff were great! The layout and size of room was good, however it was a bit disappointing that it overlooked the garbage disposal in the adjacent alley. While the room itself was a 3rd floor suite, the building is below ground level compared to the alley, making it essentially at the same level as the commercial disposal bins. Unfortunately the windows were not soundproof enough to block out the sound of the disposal trucks servicing the bins in the morning.

I booked a room for two days but I only used one. There wasn't enough parking. One truck and trailer took up 5 parking spots alone. They are doing remodeling work and starting working very early. Hardly any water pressure for my shower. The sink handles were very loose and hard to turn off. The mini fridge was so loud I had to unplug it to get to sleep. The service was great. All and all I had too book at another hotel.

Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Since the hotel is being remodeled there was some mess but the hotel was kept very clean. Breakfast was good except that the coffee was very bitter. Perhaps because we came down at the end of the breakfast window.

We have stayed here before and liked it very much. There is s remodel in progress, and my room was finished. It was very nice, the bedding is excellent and the new furniture is efficient and useful. The staff is especially kind and helpful. However, the toilet is kindergarten height, and the bathroom door squeaked like a rusty castle gate in a horror movie. Very annoying in the middle of the night. And cable tv offered no live local programming, only that pre-recorded stuff on a loop that Samsung has. Their warm chocolate chip cookies almost made up for the deficiencies, but not quite.
