Would have liked having someone on site that could make dinner reservations or provide recommendations regarding wineries or other activities. "We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with...
