« This property was a one night stop for us on our way to Shenendoah NP. It was perfect! The cabin was lovely, just enough space for 2, with everything we needed. We enjoyed building a campfire (wood/starter probided!) and eating the s’mores which were also provided for us. The quiet wooded surroundings were lovely. Definitely worth it! »

« We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do....

« Amazing cabin! Very clean inside and the hot tub was in great condition. Perfect get away for my husband and I. Definitely would recommend taking a 4wd vehicle, the roads going up were steep on some areas. 10/10 LOVED this property and we will be back! »

« Very comfortable, well appointed house, with a spacious kitchen/dining room, detached playroom, plenty of room for kids to roam outside, and ample parking. Although the house is directly off Massanutten Drive, it was quiet and we had no adjacent neighbors so it felt like we had plenty of privacy for our group of nine people. »

« They cabin was beautiful and more than met my expectations! The front porch was so nice with the hummingbirds coming to visit! It was so hot out but the cabin was cool and comfortable. « One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out. »

« This home is a beautiful property with a lot of space for your family to stay at while traveling to this part of Virginia! There are multiple options for sleeping, the kitchen is very well stocked, and there are 3 bathrooms, all with showers.
