"The house was clean and comfortable for our group of two couples. The location allowed for viewing the stormy ocean while indoors and easily slipping down to the beach between rain storms. I didn't realize that one must go through the bedroom with the bunk beds to access the upstairs bedroom. This wasn't a problem for us but others may want to be aware of this. "Great house and property as advertised. View of the quaint port and headland kept smiles on our faces throughout our stay. House was comfortable for everyone and convenient to many recreational opportunities. Even our dog loved watching the deer and crows out the window!"

"The location of the property is awesome. It's on the river and right down the street from the hatchery which is a popular drop in spot for fishing on the Elk River. Kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking tools and utensils you need. Great place to stay."

"We enjoyed this property very much. It is well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, a hair dryer, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry soap. The ice maker, dish washer and laundry all worked well. Hot tub was very clean and warm. The location can't be beat in Port Orford. We walked most anywhere we needed to go. The grocery store is a short drive. This is a well laid out house. If you want to go to bed early, the master bedroom is far enough away from the living room to cut down...

"Stayed for a month. We love the Oregon coast, and this property gave us access to so much! We hiked the cape and point trails at the coast guard station numerous times, as well as, other trails up and down the coast. Found lots of agates. Deer came through our yard sometimes twice a day, and we watched them through huge picture windows. This property was remodeled by someone with superior style and carpentry skills. The upstairs loft area is spectacular."

"Very cute little cottage part way up a hill with a fantastic view of the bay from either the balcony or just propped up on pillows while laying in bed. A public access beach is two short blocks away. Beach is very dog friendly and not crowded at all. The town is very sleepy but there are a few good places to eat. The crazy Norwegian serves really good fish and chips, and the Redfish restaurant has excellent food and a great view. Make sure to get reservations though."
