"Beware...if you buy online, you'll likely be disappointed. The general hotel pics show water views but the rooms and descriptions don't say which rooms face the water. I took a chance and I'm now sitting in a room facing the parking lot. At check-in, I offered to pay more to upgrade to a water view but since I bought it online, they refused to make a change even though they had water-view rooms available and I offered to pay more. Their response: "Call us directly next time." Lesson learned...there won't be a next time. And if you're concerned about security, the external doors at each end of the hotel do not lock."

"Perfect spot if you get one of the rooms on the ocean front. Amazing view with the beach right down the steps and a nice place to eat across the street. "

"Lovely front desk lady that checked us in! Wish I could remember her name. We had two sunset suites with 2 bathrooms each. Worked well for my travel group but the “down the stairs” suites may not work well for those traveling with toddlers or those with ambulation issues. Beautiful beach was a quick walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay and the fabulous full breakfast before we had to get back on the road."

"Based on the price, it was fine. We were super lucky and got an upgrade because the room type we reserved wasn’t available on arrival. It wasn’t the cleanest, one of the hot water heaters was out, there was a 1/3” gap under the exterior door, making the room cold, but the hotel staff was quick to bring a towel. I demonstrated the gap when she arrived by telling her to look down and see if she could see my finger under the door. Haha - that was so strange. She quickly understood the problem! Again the price and convenient location on our very long road trip made it worthwhile - but I wouldn’t stay again. "

"Parking was fine. Ants in bathroom. Had a loud punk concert in conference center going late into night (at least to midnight) that we were not advised of prior to check in. They ran out of towels and so we could not get the 3 we needed. The remote for TV did not work, we asked about it and they thought batteries were working fine, they were not. *First room had a broken door latch and chirping smoke alarm, they did move us to a room that did not have these issues right away."
