Wake up ON the lake.. Good to Go!

Good to Go is a houseboat with tons of charm! Wake up to the sounds of the water and go to bed watching an amazing sunset!

The outdoor space of this boat is great! The large front deck has chairs to enjoy. The upper deck has patio furniture, perfect to enjoy the evening views.

Inside you will find a king size bed, kitchen area with fridge/microwave and kcup coffee maker. The front living area has a futon that can double as additional sleeping area. While there is a bathroom on the boat, we ask this is used sparingly as the systems are sensitive. We have a a BRAND NEW bathhouse that was built at our dock. There are three full bathrooms with regular size showers, toilets and sinks. Just steps away from the boat. (2023)

You will love being able to walk to the beach and having Downtown Port Clinton activities within minutes. Restaurants, bars, live music, festivals, farmers markets, art shows and more! If you have a boat/jet skis/kayak this is the paradise for you. Please let us know if you would like to bring it, we have dock spaces available. There is access to Lake Erie and the Portage River directly from the marina. The Sandusky Bay is only a few minutes’ drive, as well as Cedar Point. The Jet Express is a couple minutes down the road, and you can be to Put N Bay or Kelley’s Island quickly!

Reminder, this is a boat on the water, in a marina. There are other houseboats and personal boats in the marina. The boats do not move from the dock, but simply camping on the water! Depending on the weather, there can be movement. There can also be different kinds of wildlife and bugs. This is similar to camping, but on the water! Spiders, Flies, Mayflies, Nats, etc are all creatures of the water areas. We do spray and clean for these, but want to make you aware that you may see them. We do our best to keep you comfortable! Please let us know if there is anything we can do while you are with us.

Not the best :(

The shower houses you need to use broke down twice. Only worked on our last day when we were leaving. Boat not cleaned well lots of cob webs and spiders. Bathroom smelled really bad of pee, even though we never used it. Responsiveness to our issues was pretty good, but no response at all when I said I had to drive to McDonald’s to the bathroom and requested a partial refund.

It was camping on the water…with A/C! Hosts were very responsive when we had a minor electrical issue. Location is convenient to Put-in-Bay and Kelley Island ferries. Great evening views.

Fun place to stay

Just as described. Fun to stay on a boat and let the waves rock you to sleep. The property manager was friendly and helpful. The bathhouse is newly renovated and clean. Great stay.

Great Stay!

What a fun and unique visit for me and my family! Check-in/out was very easy, the property is situated very close to restaurants and activities. The boat was clean and spacious and it was nice starting and ending thr day sitting on the upper deck enjoying the view. The hosts and property manager were very responsive to questions. If the opportunity is there, we would definitely come back!

My stay

The Host Brandi was outstanding. She is on top of her game when it comes to her job. She was the best. When booking I was misled that there was a grill on the boat but is not. Did not like that if using the toilet on board just to pee that the toilet paper had to be placed in the trash. There should be somekind of disposal bin. At my age when I have to go there is no time to run to the bath house. The bathhouse was very tidy and clean. Would recommend if just wanting to lay back and chill and feel like your camping on water.
