"This was the most perfect fit for us this weekend. I needed a quiet, comfortable place to stay while I concentrated on a national dog sport competition. Lori’s place was clean, comfortable and charming. It was easy to find, well appointed, and a pleasure to stay in. 100% recommend and would stay again should I have another event in the area "

The good:Easy access to a lotGood spot to crashHost is available quickly if neededThe issues:-If you’re over 6’ the shower will be small.-There is no window curtain in the bathroom window and the neighbor could see into the shower if they were wanting to. -The door at the entrance almost has to be shut to get past it with bags.The water temp in the shower wasn’t as warm as we had hoped but it was warm. "

"This property has great potential after some improvements can be made. What I noticed first is that I did not get responses to my messages. I was coming to town for a needed surgery and I had some questions about a late checkout. I did not get a response for weeks and almost had to cancel on the property when he finally responded. Communication is key. When we got to the property, it was snowing and close to sub zero temps and the thermostat was set to 57 degrees. We walked into an ice box that took hours to warm up. The home should be left at a comfortable temp for the clients. The 2 TVs did not work and we tried for hours and bought new batteries for the remotes. We were told to downlow and app and try to figure it out from there. Not an 'ok' response; the owners needs to get them working. The living room tv is barely holding on to the wall and needs attention quickly. The electric recliners do not all work. In my adult son's bedroom he encountered 5 large bugs, one on his arm. He killed them all and we have pictures. An exterminator is needed. This is a fun quirky property that just needs a few essential fixes and enhancements. A few throw pillows in the living room and a tissue box and some waste baskets in the bedrooms. The coffee station was top notch and the Christmas decorations in January were quaint. Just a bit more TLC and the property would be great. "

"This house is in a quiet neighbor hood. Great space, has everything we needed. Will 100% sta again if we are in the area. Host was 5 ’s. "

"This apartment does not live up to its description as “charming”. I would designate it as adequate but barely so. The positive aspects are limited to comfortable beds, efficient heating system, plenty of hot water and a good supply of pans and cooking utensils. However, I must list the deficiencies for the sake of future travelers:Venetian blinds on nearly all windows, but no way of adjusting most of them. Some have broken slats.The apartment sleeps 4, but only has silverware for 2. Also only 2 mugs.Kitchen cabinets: one door is missing, several do not close and many handles are broken.Washer and dryer in basement requiring guest to access from outside, yet there is no laundry basket.Very small motel-type coffee maker inadequate for 2-4 people.No light in refrigerator. I had to replace the lightbulb myself.No “starter materials” such as salt/pepper, dishwashing liquid, coffee.No stopper for kitchen sink. No dish towels so I had to buy two.Lots of salt, but no pepper.No bath mat. I found a mat in the basement, washed it and brought it into the apartment.No heat coming out of the vent in one bedroom. I eventually found two spa heaters in the back of a closet. It would have been better if the owner had mentioned them.There is a keypad entry which doesn’t work. The owner had to leave me a key under the doormat. This was okay when there was only one person staying in the apartment but when there were two of us it was inconvenient."
