    Definitely subpar for a Drury. Reserved 2 suites as it was a family trip. Neither was properly sanitized resulting in a room move for one of us. Understandably the pool was closed but the way they handled the managers reception was very poor. No trash bags in the rooms (due to suffocation risk) however they had no problem encouraging us to get our drinks and food to go and putting them in Styrofoam containers in plastic bags. The front desk attendant was simply rude making a off color comment about my daughter in law as she had tried to check in earlier and they would not let her as both rooms had been reserved under my name. And yes, same last name, credit card reserved so she, my son and 3 grandkids had to wait until I got there with my husband, daughter, and grandson. Drink selection at managers reception was very poor with many options having been eliminated. I have stayed at this Drury in the past and had a wonderful experience. Perhaps while they bring their sanitation efforts up to speed they should clean house and eliminate some staff. Unfortunately there was nothing they said they could do since I booked through a 3rd party - Expedia.

    Air conditioning worked very well....front desk (Liam) was extremely busy but has a pleasing & good attitude. On the 2nd night that I had to stay in Detroit, I went to stay again and the front desk staff were not accommodating. Told me they had 1 room left and tried to charge me top dollar at 11:30 Pm...the parking lot was almost empty. They should of taken my $100 dollars that I spent elsewhere.
