3HB hotel in Faro is excellent. The entire staff (front desk, concierge, cleaning, restaurants, spa, etc.) are very helpful and make you feel welcome. The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are large, nice and super clean. The spa is great. The restaurants are also very good. The weather was not so good during my stay in January but the hotel made it very pleasant. I will definitively choose 3HB Faro next time I visit Algarve.

The not-so-good: Loud thumping from the rooftop cistern's shut-off valve (frequent during the day, thankfully much less frequent overnight); no Keurig or kettle in the room; a bit of a walk into town and to the beach. Staff, rooms, were excellent. Pool was clean and attractive but only 1.5 metres deep. Shuttle bus to marina and beach was convenient (1 block away). Due to leg injury decided to eat in hotel 3 nights. Was the best meals we had during our 6 day stay. Last 2 mornings we had no hot water for the morning showers. I’m sure it’s fixed now. Breakfast included was very good. Overall very good value and would stay again. Thanks
