"The cottage was extremely clean and has everything you could need. We spent most of our time out on the porch where there are multiple seating options. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee and watching the spectacular sunsets on the lake. The lake was great for swimming and paddleboarding. Also loved that there were lots of extra cozy blankets to wrap up in. Krista was great, she responded quickly to any questions we had and checked in to see if we needed anything. "

"Very old hotel facilities, not functioning AC, plus you can hear clearly your nextdoor's TV all night long, and a dog barking at 3am. What an experience!"

"Rooms were clean. Staff was excellent parking was great. The only drawback is I never received a receipt. Hotel said that hotel.com was going to send it but I never received."

"The written directions to get to the cabin were misleading, using Fort McCoy as the address rather than Salt Spring. Using them we were misled by approximately 10-15 miles. This was at 10pm. Fortunately the lady helping manage the cabin called us and tried to talk us into the right path. When she realized we were helplessly lost, she drove 15 miles to personally guide us to the cabin. The cabin itself was very nice. The shower bath tub set up is in desperate need of shower safety bars and a rubber mat on the tub floor. "
