Travelodge by Wyndham Dunsmuir

10/10 Excellent

"Nice location. Pet Friendly. Great staff - always friendly and welcoming. Clean as always."

The Inn at Shasta Lake

8/10 Good

"We stayed in the Woodpecker room and enjoyed having the jet bath. There's a loud hum through the wall next to the bed from the air conditioning unit just outside the room, which could bother some people, but we thought it was like white noise. The bed was very comfortable, but there were only two standard pillows for a king size bed. Luckily, we brought our own pillows so that wasn't a big deal. We were surprised at the lack of some amenities, like glasses in the bathroom for brushing your teeth and no box of tissues or lotion available. There was also no soap near the tub. Having breakfast served in the room was very nice, but the food was just okay. Eggs seemed to be powdered and there was no sausage or bacon included. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again at the price we paid."

Bridge Bay Lodge at Shasta Lake

8/10 Good

"Beautiful views all around ,lake was awesome , boating service great , I didn’t like about the huff restaurant running out of beer and some other stuff - i went twice the service was not really great and it was my first time to do 2 separate tips - one for the cooks and one for the bar - room was nice and clean The internet wifi does not works at all I like it because its pets. Friendly and i always looks mainly that for my golden Lab , And we are looking forward to rent a boat house next time ! Or a cabin It was nice for me in October because there is not A lot of people around that month I definitely will go back and I hope the comments help the staff to improve better at least for the restaurant and the Internet. The rest is awesome and beautiful."

A cabin with beautiful mountain views and outdoor lounge

10/10 Excellent

"Great house and location! The host was really nice, communicative and even let us check in early. They gave us rocks which we loved and made a cute memory with. The grill outside did not work but it wasn’t a big deal because it was too cold out there anyways. It was very useful they had a lot of spices. Caution driving on the driveway because it’s so steep it scratched our crv. I would recc just parking on the street. The mattresses were pretty hard but I expect that everywhere I go now."

Picturesque Garden Retreat w/Deck With Hot Tub

10/10 Excellent

"This location was great, especially for our pups with an enclosed backyard. This feature made for a very relaxing time sitting on the deck in the morning, listening to the birds, and late night, watching the stars, and sitting in the hot tub…The down comforter was GREAT… I’m a couch sleeper… my husband said the bed was good..The yummy teas were a nice touch, too….Oh, and Mt. Shasta was worth the drive, the botanicals gardens, Castle Crags, and so much more… Thanks, for the consistent communication, too. We will be returning!"
