"My husband and I recently celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary with a getaway to the beautiful Semiahmoo Resort, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning scenery and fantastic amenities. The resort is a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, providing an ideal setting for a romantic celebration. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service we received from the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Whether it was the concierge, the restaurant staff, or the housekeeping team, their warmth and professionalism truly stood out and added a special touch to our visit. The food was also amazing, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Each meal was a culinary delight, making our dining experiences a highlight of the trip. Despite the otherwise perfect experience, there were a couple of minor issues. The parking situation was a bit challenging, as we were unable to park in the resort's parking lot. Additionally, we found our bathroom to be infested with fruit flies, which was a bit of a nuisance. However, these small inconveniences were overshadowed by the overall positive experience. We highly recommend Semiahmoo Resort for anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious getaway. "

"We stayed as part of our 40th anniversary road trip, staying two nights following four busy days in Victoria, BC. This sweet cottage was clean, restful, and beautiful. The host, Julia, has gone absolutely above and beyond to make this place special and her guests feel welcome. Both inside the home and outside on the property are very well kept and have everything you could possibly want or need. She even left a hand written note and gift for our anniversary! Great coffee, too! Thank you, Julia! We are so grateful for your hospitality!"

"My first vrbo, host was accommodating, had a last minute change and was no problem, very clean, you do have to use the main house for bath facilities but easy acess, 2 minor things, there is only one out let for the refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig had to get down and plug in microwave to use, and small night table on both sides of the bed, other than that great time easy to get to, thanks John"

"We loved our stay at the Half Shell. The views were amazing, the widelife (birds) abundant, and the peace and serenity exactly what we were looking for. Having pictures of the kitchenette in the listing would have been helpful. It was a pleasant surprise. Although we didn't cook, it had everything we would have needed to make a small meal. Everything went smoothly and we look forward to staying at this location again really soon. "

"Home is well-appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. All modern conveniences available for use - coffee maker, microwave, split air/heaters, washer & dryer. Clear, quick communication with the host, easily accessed the property at check in. Our favorite feature was the deck in back, over looking the water, where we watched ferries crossing, eagles & geese hunting for food and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and hope to return soon for another stay!"
