"I was so impressed with The Ozarker Lodge. Our party included my wife and daughter (aged 5) and my in-laws. The rooms are a touch smaller, but very well done. We even looked up the pillows to buy for home. While the room included a nice TV with access to all of the popular streaming services we only needed on stream to be entertained. That was the creek out back. My daughter loved wading the the cool water, looking at snails, minnows, and crawfish. This was an incredible perk that was unexpected. We enjoyed the common areas with games, s’mores, and a wide assortment of beverages. The pool was also a great spot to relax and unwind. This was simply a comfortable and cool place to hangout. We did our fair share of tourist things in the area, but personally I could have spent a lot more time just chilling at the lodge. I have two recommendations that I think would enhance the experience. Number one would be to look at recruiting a Naturalist to lead kid classes at the creek. I saw many species of birds, the listed water critters, and plenty of floral and fauna to make a very fun and exciting time for kids. Second would be to go entirely smoke free on campus. With so many families and having such a great natural connection to the wilderness this would be an amazing move to truly stand out. Bottom line this place was great. We’d never been to the Branson area and would love to return sooner rather than later (fall here must be beautiful). I’d recommend the lodge 💯"
