Howard Johnson by Wyndham Middletown Newport Area

10/10 Excellent
"Nice stay. Rooms very clean and modern. Beds were comfy. The breakfast area was especially pleasant. Modern feel, nice floor plan and food was better than most breakfast. We enjoyed sitting on our outdoor patio. Only downside, no elevator. Luckily there are only 2 floors. Would Def go again to this Hotel"

Hotel Viking

Hotel Viking

10/10 Excellent
"I could not say enough about the Viking hotel in Newport, Rhode Island! My stay was exceptional, the food was off the charts, the accommodations were wonderful, there was just such a wonderful BUZZ going around in the hotel. People were coming for weddings and parties and everybody was so gracious. The shop did not disappoint either. The chocolate croissant, the amazing cappuccino. The highlight was probably when I arrived, and I had the most amazing Barada, oysters, and a glass of rosé. I will be going back for sure, I would like it to be every month!"

Atlantic Beach Hotel Newport

Atlantic Beach Hotel Newport

8/10 Good
"The property is in a great location as far as being close to the beach and a quick ride downtown. The hallway was noisy and sounds traveled easily into our room at night. The only other issue that seemed to be a problem many were having was the one and only elevator that took a long time to get on. Once I took the steps all the way down to a door that had a fire alarm and I was afraid to open it. Up the steps again and a wait to ride to other floors before being able to get off on my floor. The only good thing about that one slow elevator was the conversations with other guests we met on our ride especially when a took the 40 or so steps down and up and got on with the same people I was originally waiting with to ride."

The 1661 Inn

The 1661 Inn

8/10 Good
"We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night."
