We had a great supper at the rusty anchor, which is only a short drive away. Neighbours and dog barking across the street were loud at times when outside using the hot tub, but relaxing in the hot tub was still amazing. We were out early every morning for hikes and back late in the day. A couple days we were back early for coffee on the porch and soaks in the hot tub. Heavenly. The best part perhaps was that we were three minutes from the sunsets on the beach! Stunning. We did not do any cooking, other than coffee. I was a wee bit surprised how close to the road we were, but there were barely any cars that went by. The owners were so kind, even when I called one night at 8:30 p.m. to report I had lost the key on one of our hikes! Very gracious. The place worked perfectly for us, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. ##### virginia m. The cottage was well-outfitted and very clean/tidy. However, it did feel small/cramped for even two adults with luggage. We managed, but it was very tight. As well, the bathroom is very crammed, particularly the toilet which faces the tub with only a few inches of clearance. Taller folks will be uncomfortable. We had trouble closing the blinds in the bathroom which was necessary because the glass isn't frosted and there were people sitting outside directly behind the cottage.
