"We were not aware and can’t see it on the website that the hotel is under an extensive refurbishment. When we pulled into the front car park it looked like a construction zone. The dining area is cut in half with makeshift plastic sheeting separating the breakfast area and the construction. The second floor rooms are also going through a full makeover just over way down the second section. Bearings with all of this, we actually had a pleasant stay. The construction is quite considerate and the builders quite respectful. The breakfast was quite nice, the renovated rooms of a good standard and the pool / Tiki bar area very good. 5 star luxury it’s not, good basic clean accommodation to explore the Keys it certainly is. Would we go back, yes we would so a thumbs up."

"Really a nice place. Overall the Keys are an older area with many hotels/resorts showing signs of deferred maintenance. This place was a true 5 Star. Staff is/are unbelievable. 100% recommend."
