"While the rooms have fresh paint and updated bedding, the rooms overall are dated. The bathrooms/vanities are dated, but functional. The main problem is the overwhelming odor of mold. We had to be moved in to a different room which did not have as strong a smell, but was definitely still present."

"We were disappointed that the pool was closed because it “wasn’t summer” the last weekend of May. Had we known that prior to booking, we would have booked elsewhere as we were traveling with a group of kids who were excited about the pool. I was unaware that the rooms are only refreshed every other day. I certainly will never book with a courtyard Marriott again for that reason alone. Paying $250 a night and not getting clean towels delivered or the room freshened up is crazy. There are too many other options available in the area that I’ll use next time. I knew breakfast wasn’t included, but with the lack of daily housekeeping and pool closure, perhaps it’s something to consider offering in the future for your guests? Also, the trash cans were overflowing throughout the hotel as many baseball teams stay there when playing at Lakepoint. I know that will continually be an issue, but more attention to the garbage cans is necessary. On a positive note, the front desk staff was kind and doing their best to be helpful to our group during our stay. Overall take away, there are better accommodations in the area for the same price."

"Visiting for our daughter's graduation. Smaller Hotel only 3floors. Good area, not far from shopping. Room had small refrigerator and microwave. The property definitely presented well online, however in-person it could use some renovations. Furniture in room and bathroom was pretty worn, and mattress didn't fit the base well. Purchased our own sheets to use while there as the ones provided didn't look as white anymore. The room size was ok, however the cleaning could use some work, coffee pot and furniture was pretty dusty, including the shelf where they placed the clean towels, so we ended up doing a little of our own cleaning before unpacking, as there only seemed to be 1 person working and he was overwhelmed with answering the phone and overseeing the front desk. There was a dirty towel left in the shower. Entry Door of the room did not lock properly, which was a little scary. It was graduation weekend for a few of the high schools in the area so changing rooms wasn't an option. Overall if you're looking for a cheap place to crash it'll do the trick. It was kind of difficult to find even with GPS. Didn't try the breakfast so can't give a review on that. Not a lot of parking. We probably wouldn't stay again."
