"Our second stay here. We were just as happy this time, as last year.This beach house is nicely located in Avila Beach, with an excellent view of the beach and bay. It's a short walk down the hill to the main strip (shops and restaurants). At night, all you hear is the waves breaking on the beach.The kitchen is nicely usable - the old gas stove is not in service, but the microwave and hotplate served nicely for cooking, the full-sized refrigerator held all of our supplies, and there were plenty of dishes and tableware and etc.Although there's only one bedroom with one bed in it, the folding couch/bed in the living room is a good one (quite comfortable).Logistical issue to be aware of, if you are staying anywhere in Avila Beach - there is no real grocery in town, just restaurants and a sandwich shop. Plan to do your food shopping on the way here e.g. in San Luis Obispo, or Pismo Beach.There was some construction going on during the weekdays at the house across the street (they've been working there for over a year)."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has a gorgeous view from the living room and the deck. The accommodations were fine, a bit aged, but was fine for our family vacation. Easy access to the downtown area, although the description does say the beach is a walkable distance, It’s quite a steep hill if you have small children. I would stay here again."

"We had a nice stay! The house was comfortable for all 8 of us, and the location was great—an easy walk down to town. The hosts were very nice and accommodating, allowing us to check in early.A few things could be improved: the pullout couch wasn’t working, so we had to use an air mattress, which wasn’t very comfortable, and bedding was difficult to find. The freezer door also wouldn’t stay shut, so we had to place something in front of it. More detailed directions for finding the house and information about parking would also be helpful, as it was a little difficult to locate. With all of us having trucks, parking in the space was a bit challenging.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The town home is at a perfect location with unbeatable views. Well equipped and clean interior. I’m not giving 5 stars as the outdoor living area needs attention; worn out deck furniture cushions, dead plants, hot tub lacked proper steps, was dirty with crack cover. Not what you expect for the price. Property management was responsive and did what they could. Nonetheless we had a great stay."

"Lovely property, friendly check-in staff. Great location right near the Bob Jones trailhead. My only notes are that the cabin i stayed in is a bit rundown - the mattress could be replaced, the bedside light had no outlet, so was just ornamental, and the tv in the bedroom didn’t work. Other than that, great stay!"
