I can understand paying an additional fee, but it was really pricey per person and this was on top of the 30 dollars you are already paying for facilities fee. I would come again if the hotel could negotiate a better price to use the pool for guests staying at the inn next door. If you don’t care about a pool, then it’s an absolutely perfect place to stay. Facility was well thought out and had processes in place to deal with all the people without anyone feeling ignored. Part of that was to have sufficient staff on site. It is right above the beach so it takes about 30 seconds to get to the steps to the beach then another 15 seconds to get down them and there you are on the beach with about 6-8 beach volleyball courts to your right and the Pacific ocean in front of you. Pismo beach is a great beach. This hotel gives you total access quickly. We had a great time.
