"This property met our needs very nicely. It is, as it is described, a little on the rustic side, but it is clean and comfortable and - with a king size bed - a perfect haven for two tired travelers. The room is a studio with a nice size bathroom and large closet. It has a microwave, coffee maker (with coffee provided) and a number of welcome snacks. The property could use a few upgrades (carpet), but it was very comfortable for us. I'd certainly reserve the property again if I visit Weaverville."

"Needs some TLC, updated decor, maintenance and a deep cleaning. The master bathroom sink doesn’t drain, no extra toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags. No towel rack or hooks in guest bathroom, no toilet paper holder in guest bathroom. Bedroom closets are full of random junk and was not able to use them. Not able to use the TV, no DVD player or DVDs. Needs a radio or Bluetooth speaker, needs alarm clock in bedrooms. No books to read, no deck of cards. Needs a tea kettle, foil, ziplock bags....

"Property was very clean and just as pictured. Wonderful place to stay while visiting family nearby. Host was very easy to communicate with. My husband has a service dog - Kona - who also loved staying there too. Would love to stay there again."

"I have stayed here twice now, and love this place. The first stay was in much newer cabin, which was better appointed. This stay was in one of the vintage cabins. Very cute and old school in a fun way. And the location near one of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen is hard to beat! However, they need to change out some of the furniture which wasn’t well designed for groups and there was some general maintenance required. Could use some more plates in the kitchen and some newer pots and pans. As always, Ryan, the manager, is great to work with. Clean, comfortable, quaint, quiet…just lovely. I know I will make this a regular vacation spot."

"It was a great stay. The cabin was clean & cozy with everything needed. On the VRBO site it says check time is 4:00 & check out time is before 11:00 but the cleaning person showed up at little after 10 and said we were supposed to check out by 10. Fortunately, we were just finishing up. The check out time needs to be adjusted or communication with cleaners needs to made. Otherwise everything was smoothe."

"Nice updated house with access to the Trinity River. Enjoyed hanging out and fishing. Lots of hiking and local lakes to enjoy in the area. Hosts were helpful and easy to reach. Look forward to our next visit."
