« We had an excellent stay even with several rainy days. The house had several areas to cozy up with a book and enjoy the views of Lake Huron. We enjoyed the decor featuring local scenic photos and art. The house provided anything you may need traveling with little kids or pets. We had some questions for the hosts and they responded quickly. The communication was impressive. Great place to stay year round! »

« We stayed here over the Fourth of July weekend because it was one of the few places available near Port Austin, and for that purpose it worked. The rooms definitely need updating, especially the carpet, which made the room feel worn. The first night there was a strong stale cigarette smell, although it noticeably improved by the second day. « The room i was in had an awful smell that I couldn't identify and there were no other rooms available. luckily I was only there 2 nights over priced for sure with fees and extra charges, but had no other options locally and there was a baseball tournament going on so there were no options close. Only ended up there because the hotel I was staying at for work was over booked that weekend and I didnt reserve early enough for the weekend... and the deadbolt didnt work. And the house keeping knocked...
