"This is our 2nd stay at this property as we have celebrated New Years with friends two consecutive years. Everything was as good as the first time. No snow this time and lake wasn't quite frozen, but the property was still fantastic. There is so much space between the 2 buildings that even with a large group plenty of beds for everyone. Kids (and adults) love the game room."

"The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates. The only problem we encountered, which was absolutely not a huge deal for us, was that the WiFi password was not provided. We possibly located it but what we found did not work for any of the available networks. Again not a deal breaker but if this is important to you make sure to discuss before booking. "Enjoyed a lovely stay with family for a weekend in mid-February. It was an ideal gathering space with top-notch amenities (i.e. Hot tub, Subzero fridge and a heated bathroom floor). Everything was SO CLEAN! Host was on vacation herself but very responsive to a few questions we had. Kids had a great time playing the games in the garage and using the tv and video games in the basement. The adults enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing cards at the dining room table. "We drove 3.5 hours to stay at the clean cozy cabin. The cabin was very clean and there was plenty of wood for wood burning fireplace. Gorgeous picturesque views of the lake and awesome sunsets. The queen bed was new and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking to come back in summer to enjoy the lake! Thank you for sharing a great place with us!"
