The lake itself was clear but incredibly orange red - if your kiddo freaked out like mine did no worries there is another crystal clear lake 10 min down the road - jack lake. From the photos on the listing, we assumed the short walk to the beach was down the driveway and across the road, not down the road to another driveway and another driveway.
