« Lovely B and B in a stately, historic house. Marsha is an excellent host. The food is excellent and most comes from their working farm or other WV farms. The surrounding property is beautiful. My room was spacious and comfortable. »

« It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

« Great spot, very cool cabin! Convenient to many great locations: Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob etc. Only downside was that the neighbors down the road are a little loud. The gravel road in got a bit washed out in the storm, so 4WD is recommended »

« We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. »

« Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! »

« My husband and I, plus some friends came to this area for the Revival in Augusta with Kayla Gabbard and her ministry. We were so thankful we were able to find an affordable clean place to stay. This area was so pretty and we really enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be staying here again! »

« David is an incredible host! We cannot thank him enough for hosting us for a week! Everything was just as described in the listing. The rooms were comfortable and the layout was perfect for our family. David was extremely receptive to all communication and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time in Canaan. We will definitely be back! *Don’t forget your fishing poles! Our 6yo son caught a huge bass, and two huge trout! »
