"They have some construction going on right now, but despite the updgrades they are working on to improve the property it was clean and a lovely stay. Would stay here again."

"Literally the only hotel in the area, and it’s got outside doors, which I am definitely not a fan of, but we were having trailer troubles and had to stay somewhere. This place is actually really nice!!! The interior has been completely remodeled and they did a nice job with it! A lot of times they look like they were hastily remodeled with crooked half painted walls and old sinks… this place was very clean, bed was comfortable, sheets were pristine, furniture was spotless, sinks and showers updated, the employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. As much as I hate exterior doors, I’d definitely stay here again! I’m very particular and difficult to impress sometimes, but this place well exceeded my expectations. "
Scenic River Cabin Retreat Kayaks, Firepit, Hammock & Dog-Friendly Stay
10/10 Excellent
"Communication with the host was excellent. A little house idiosyncracy was quickly resolved. The view from the porch will be etched in our fond family memories of our week together. Every detail to make the week enjoyable was there from the ample wood for the firepit and a s'mores kit to the well-stocked kitchen with plenty of tools and preparation items. Loads of towels, ample toiletries, and even items for our furry family member were included. We were a bit intimidated by the driveway, but the short hill down to the house is well graveled and leads to a large parking area. Our concern about not being close to services proved to be overblown, as Parsons is a sweet little town with plenty of what we needed, not to mention some very nice, updated parks and walking paths. We visited Nashville one day and Mousetail State Park another. Lick Creek was pretty shallow at this time of the summer at our end, but it didn't prevent us from lots of fun kayaking. Lots of room both indoor and outdoor. Very generous hosts. Thanks for a beautiful and precious time with our family. "
"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods, it was perfect! Place was clean and very nicely appointed with many plush towels, nice bedding, and cute decor. A/C units worked very well and cooled the whole place. We came to the area to see our grandson compete in the national motocross championship at Loretta Lynn’s ranch which was just 30 minutes away. Note there is no TV in the unit but our son who was had his camper up at Loretta’s brought down an internet TV which worked fine by just plugging it in, the internet signal was excellent. Good communication with the property manager, overall a great place to stay. "
"My daughter, grandson, and I stayed here for 2 days during the week to unwind and do a little fishing. The house was perfect and the water access for fishing even better! The owners communication was excellent. We highly recommend this owner and property. "
