The spa is really good as well, masseuses who know what they’re doing.

"Lovely location, friendly staff and loads of water activities options. The kids club requires a special mention - the staff there is very active and kept kids very engaged, to the point that the children looked forward to meeting them the next day. "

"Staff members have been so friendly and kind. First class service. We stayed for four nights in a junior beach front room facing the sea. The room was excellent; sea view awesome; four swimming pools; fabulous entertainment every night. The cleaning team (Reagan) was so efficient and ensured that our room was cleaned every day. The staff at the Citronelle restaurant were also very kind and helpful. ( Sweetie, Nisha, Mr Saheye, the lady who did our poached eggs every day The chefs were so friendly ) they all ensured that our stay was fab. The buffet for dinner and breakfast was awesome.
We also met the HR assistant manager Darren who gave us a warm welcome and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Memorable stay. We would like to visit again. Highly recommended. "

"This hotel is lovely, a little tired on the decoration, but over all lovely. The staff just cant do enough for you, and as its a small hotel ihe staff really get to know you and becomes a very personal service. There isnt a beach in the hotel, but access to the sea via steps off a pontoon. Beautiful setting though, and yiu have the pool option from your sun longer too. Just a 5 minute walk is the public beach where there are water sports. The hotel dies have a gym, but very small and tired looking. Mainly cardio machines. The rooms are big and spacious and cleaned everyday. If you want to go out and eat, then there are a few places in walking distance, but to reach Grand Baie you can walk, but mostly its on the road and no pavements. However the bus stop is across from the hotel, and onky takes a few minutes to get there. Only 21 rupess each. The food in the hotel we could not fault, it was absolutely delicious. "

"The property had just reopened after renovations.
The pool area was very nice and comfortable and warm even on a windy day.
The staff went the extra mile and obviously have tremendous pride in their jobs and the property. Two weeks sped by very quickly and we were all very sad to leave. Will definitely be going back."
