5/5 Excellent
"Amazing place and staff are so nice room was clean with very nice view "
"Clean, practical, with most things you need, an iron and hairdryer too.
I would have liked to have had plant based milk cartons in my room instead of dairy though, so l could have enjoyed a cuppa in my room.
Shower head is fixed to the wall too, making it difficult to shower properly. But otherwise all was good. Staff are very friendly but not enough of them on reception.
Cafe is nice, again, vegan options not as obvious as I'd have liked. I spent ages trying to work that all out. Generally a nice stay though. "

"I had just developed a minor medical condition which means using a wheelchair. One to one safety briefing and a ground floor suitable room was provided. Friendly efficient staff and stunning views across Plymouth from the Penthouse restaurant."

"This is a wonderful, grand, historic building and retains the ambience of Victorian grandeur, even though there are a few scuffs and scrapes and rusted ironwork!. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and efficient and this was the case with all staff that we encountered including the breakfast staff. The room was beautifully decorated and fitted and was very comfortable with all amenities that you could want. Lots of sockets by the bed as well. Our room benefitted from a superb sea view. The breakfast was very good, though veggie/vegan sausages would have been a welcome addition. For the price we paid, this hotel was an absolute bargain and we would love to return here again. Perfect location for anyone visiting Plymouth."
