Be careful if you stay there
Hotel itself was nice. Reception personnel was rude and they misguided us on the shuttle to the airport. I clearly asked if it went direct to airport or made stops and they said direct. But it stopped several times drop off was not at airport but at train station which was quite a walk to airport and this made us lose 30 minutes of valuable time.

I expected free transfers to and from the airport. Then I received an email telling me it would cost 5 euros but with a warning that I may not be able to trust providing my credit card number. So I ended up spending $17 for an Uber to get to the hotel. Fortunately the receptionist st the hotel sold me a ticket for my morning transfer which was 7.88 Euros. Other guests said they experienced the same. The hotel was a bit worn, the hall carpets were not clean and the room did not have a refrigerator which I needed for my medication. After this I will deal directly with hotels so I know what is really offered. The receptionists st night and in the morning were very helpful and there were no bedbugs.

Last minute stay in Paris. Close to the airport, quiet, good food. Only issue was no iron in the room. I imagine I could’ve easily gotten one from reception.

The shuttle is not actually free or communicated
The hotel (room and lobby area) were nice enough but the service had some room for improvement. We stayed two nights and I was in the shower the first morning when housekeeping wanted to come into clean, not that big of a deal but they could have come back when we left. The second problem was with the airport shuttle. Yes it runs every half hour but no one bothered to tell us that the unmarked van/bus we waited 25 minutes for was the actual shuttle. There were several other vans that picked people up so I finally asked a woman at the front desk when the shuttle would be here and she pointed to the empty bus saying that was the one as if we were supposed to have known that. For 10 euros I don’t think the driver or someone else telling people waiting outside that this was the airport shuttle would be too much to ask.

Underwhelmed.
Arriving after midnight, we selected this one due to proximity to CDG and a free shuttle. After committing with a non refundable payment we learned the shuttle didn’t run that late. That should have been indicated! We were left to wait in the taxi line for at least 90 minutes to travel a few kilometers and arrived about 2am. We also learned that our shuttle in the morning back to the airport carried a fee. Again clearer communication would have made it feel less like a bait and switch. Our primary interaction with the front desk was the request to prepay the city tax. Perfect!

Dear Gregg, we're sorry for this situation, as much as we're surprised because on the booking site of our shuttles, the time is clearly indicated and it's not possible to make a reservation at a time that is not provided by our transfer service. As for the tourist taxes, they are payable on arrival of all guests, but you can also ask to pay them on departure provided that you leave an imprint of your credit card at the reception. This system is applicable in most of the European countries, not only in France. We hope that during your next stay, we will be able to best meet your expectations.

Helpful English-speaking staff assisted me with check-in and a cab fare situation. Everything was perfect for my needs except for just one thing - I did not see printed anywhere that the last shuttle to the airport is 10:30am.

The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. When told that neither our refrigerator nor our tv worked, they just shrugged and said there was no staff to fix it. We also could not get the heat off in our room and they just said to open the window. Consequently, it was like sleeping in an oven all night even though the window is open. With the window open, it was also very noisy. It was quite a disappointing stay, even though it was only for one night.

The facility had some maintenance issues involving securing doors and the functioning of the exit gate and the pole blocking access to the parking neither of which were working during our stay

The hotel looks beautiful but the rooms are badly in need of refurbishing - old carpet, old and torn drapes -it is a pity as the staff is really great.

The good, and the bad, a cautionary tale
The general condition of the hotel appears to indicate that it has a high occupancy rate, yet the maintenance does not keep up with the wear and tear on the rooms and the common areas. On the 4th floor paint flakes are seen on the carpet as a result of an ongoing water infiltration issue above. The friction fit connector on the hose running to the shower head in 436 would detach from the head by itself while showering. Despite being told that it would be fixed each day they eventually moved me to 435... A room where half the shower door was missing. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are tidy, despite the poor maintenance. The breakfast is excellent, and the bar is comfortable. The restaurant menu is uninspired and designed to offer a short selection of fare to a broad pallet. The food served is passable, with a couple exceptions. On the assiette de charcuterie the bottom side of the jambon de Bayonne had rancid fat which was starting to mold. And, the tartare should be avoided (trust me, the following 24 hours may not be pleasant). Front desk staff are polite and helpful. Despite trying to charge a higher rate than agreed with hotels.com, but when they were confronted with the disparity they adjusted it. Same for the included breakfast which they tried to charge for.
