The hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful. Rooms were very clean and staff take pride in their job. Very convenient and lovely location. My partner and I had a wonderful time and will go back.

We booked a City View room and were put into a non-City View room. The room was tiny, cramped, dingy, and dark with a view of the surrounding buildings. Our request for a refund has not been answered. This was a very disappointing stay in an expensive (for what we got) hotel.

Hotel is very small and congested with very small lobby, extremely small elevators and hallways, rooms were very small and difficult to maneuver, it definitely does not give a feeling of a 4 star hotel and does not match the price per night

The unvacuumed rug was dirty in my room as well as the narrow hallway leading to it. There was no air conditioning. No air movement at all. When I inquired with the front desk about the lack of air in the room, I was told that the hotel is only contracted to have air conditioning until September. She sent a fan to my room, which turned out to be filthy-dusty and noisy. Pillows were uncomfortable. Woke up with a back ache.

The only downside is air condition of our room is broken. But they gave us 2 electric fan for circulation.Otherwise area is very nice and accessible.

We came to the hotel to find out the room we had booked was not available. They asked to stay in a room with a double bed for the night and informed us that they would move our luggage to the new room the next day when it’s available.
The next morning as requested we packed and offered to move our luggage to the new room ourselves. They told us the room was not ready yet, but just to leave the luggage in the room in one area and they would move it for us.
When we came back to the hotel later that day, they had moved 5 of the 6 bags to the new room. The 6th bag had multiple wine bottles we had got from Champagne, France. The entire bag was missing. We informed the hotel of this and they said they would look into it right away and would make good on what had transpired. We had to check out the next day and I was informed by the manager that the director would contact me by Wednesday to address the issue and compensate us. Director never called. When I did finally got a hold of her, she stated we moved all the bags and can’t do anything. Essentially stating she can’t help us- whereas the manager on the shift had stated they have suspicions on who it could it be. I asked her to check video footage and she remained silent.
I am filing a police complaint and requesting damages for stolen goods and my entire stay.
DO NOT book here. I waited to write this, hoping that customer service would compensate for all the trouble, but they have not. She was plain rude.

This hotel has definitely been around a while. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was on par with what you might see at in other European hotels. The floor in my room was very creaky and whoever was below me could hear every step I’m sure. When people in other rooms would smoke, it seeped into my room. My room key has to be activated every time I left my room which was not ideal. I feel the location is out of the way which makes the taxi rides more expensive so I’m personally not likely to stay here again.

The value for the money was not so good. The location is nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the 1st and the 8th etc. But the room was very small - think a Tokyo hotel room, and the bathroom was so terribly small that one had to sit sideways on the toilet because there was no room for legs between the toilet and the wall. Absurd.

Situated was good. Hotel is very very old. Breakfast was good, but not suitable for children
Good hotel near the Victor Huga metro exit. Nice neighborhood with bakeries and eateries nearby. A little more than half a mile to the Arc. Overall, good experience. Would stay again.
