As check out time is until noon, few rooms are available early in the morning.At the time of your check in, in your category of rooms the one you got in the first place was the only one available at that time.It is the same type as the second one you had : same amenities, same size... Only the furniture is different because it was renovated in a different year than the room you had in the first place.When you asked to change to another room, the second one had become available in the meantime, but there was no other room of this type available at that moment. Our team works hard to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for our guests.For information, in order to save energy and reduce the CO2 emitted in the atmosphere to help fight the global warming, companies in France are now imposed an agenda of some years by the authorities to take steps to reduce whatever can be harmful to the planet (step by step all "complimentary" plastic like the plastic bottles in the fridges will disappear and have to be replaced by something else, guests are invited to ask for a change of towels only if they leave them on the floor to prevent unnecessary use of water and detergent in the bleaching companies...). We have implemented an AI to help monitor the use of air conditioning with the help of company who is in charge of helping other businesses reach the goals set by the new laws. As a reminder, the recommended temperature by the authorities to set the air conditioning in summer is 26 and 19 for heating in winter. It is not necessary to have a temperature below 21 when the weather is hot to have the feeling of freshness.Guests can adjust the temperature from the remote in the room, but cooling a room when no one is in, is a waste for the environment. The AI adapts to your behaviour in your room and adjusts the temperature according to your orders on the remote. For example, if you set a temperature after 23:00 the AI will know that it is your comfort temperature for the night and will stop adjusting it until the next morning.Staff can still switch on or off the system for you and set a temperature remotely, but this will not prevent the AI system to adjust the temperature after.We hope that you will return on a future occasion.Kind regards,Geoffroy - Libertel Austerlitz Jardin des Plantes
