The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very spacious (my room even had a long corridor). The location is convenient as well, yet it is not easy to find. In this sense, I suggest you look for 5, rue richer, instead of 10, rue du conservatoire, the latter being a much more difficult street to find.

We stayed for a long weekend in august. Wasn’t too far from the station which was good. When we arrived they informed us that the air conditioning was broken, however they were going to provide free breakfast for our entire stay which was hadn’t paid for and also had provided two large fans. It was a very hot weekend so was a shame, but actually the fans worked fine and we slept really well every night- we are not great sleepers so this was an achievement. Our room was a good size for two and was clean. The breakfast was a standard continental but that worked for us. I would definitely stay there again. A metro was close by and you could walk to various restaurants about a 15/20 minute walk.

We had a fabulous stay at the hotel. The check in staff (Christian) was so nice and professional. The room was so beautiful, comfortable, and stylish. The hotel and the room gives the vibe of Paris. Can’t wait to come and stay at this hotel again!

Good location and staff
The staff was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is also in a good location close to a lot of restaurants and not far from attractions. However this can also be a downfall as at night sound travels and we could hear every person talking and every vehicle going by. The building is definitely older and could use some repairs/ sprucing up and while the building 'has air conditioning' it didn't work the entire time we were there. Because of this we had the window open and that made the noise a bit more difficult to deal with. It does offer free breakfast which is free so can't complain but don't expect a lot of choices or options as to what you receive. Also, not sure if this was a Europe issue or just this hotel but all of us found the beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Overall was a good experience but not sure if I'd stay here again.

It’s a tired hotel that was renovated without much thought or logic. Room was small and bathroom poorly designed. Does not stack up with other hotels in Paris at the same price.

Pleasant place to stay in Paris
Had a great stay here! The hotel staff was very friendly and always available to help. The room was super cute and head a great view to the neighborhood. The AC was unfortunately broken during our stay but they threw in free breakfast to accommodate. It was a short walk to the metro and there were tons of restaurants close by for meals. Pretty part of Paris and quiet at night. Everything was cleaned daily and you had the option to reuse your towels.

Great spot to stay in the heart of Paris
Lovely hotel in great location, two blocks from Metro and walking distance to loads of attractions. Plus loads and loads of options for places to eat nearby, and a handy little supermarket (Grand Prix) around the corner. It's a quirky little hotel, not a chain, but has excellent, friendly staff who really work hard to make your stay a pleasant one.

A great hotel right near Metro Stations and so many well priced restaurants. The staff was always pleasant - from the concierge, to the breakfast staff, to the cleaning staff. A great find.

Great reasonably priced, well located hotel
Excellent, elegant hotel, very friendly abs helpful staff, nice bathroom and liked the balcony, great location in that it is walking distance from the Gare du Nord but also far enough away to be in a nice neighbourhood. Very clean. Would defiantly return on my next trip to Paris

Well-located, clean and friendly hotel
Really conveniently located hotel. Easy to walk to montmartre, opera, Gare du Nord. Feels safe with reception always available and a key card to open the door. The staff on reception were all friendly, helpful and professional. Small lift to take luggage up but this is Paris do I was glad to have any lift. Small but clean and comfortable rooms. The major down side is poor noise insulation. I could hear water, bathroom flushing and showering, and whole conversations of those around me. That made it difficult to sleep. The bed was also hard and the blanket seemed too small for the bed. I would still stay again for the convenience, lovely staff and good value in the area

The bus is a block away and the metro is a short walk. Breakfast is good. Staff is very helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Would definitely return.

Staff were extremely helpful. I had some issues outside of the hotel and they went above and beyond to assist in any way they could. We had a dog and lots of luggage because my daughter was moving home and they were able to store the extra bags. We had all the help we needed with the dog. My daughter was dressed they gave her extra coffee and food to calm her. They offered all kinds of help. The cleaning staff gave us extra toilet paper and towels. Everyone was very friendly.

Gorgeous hidden gem
Staff on the front desk were absolutely amazing. Especially the gentleman who had the evening shift. Enormous thank you to him. Couldn't have been more polite and helpful with everything we needed. Despite an injury resulting in me ending up in a wheelchair just before the trip and the hotel advertising it wasn't wheelchair friendly, They bent over backwards to help. Even to the extent of helping to carry my wheelchair up the stairs to our room and back down again each day. The hotel itself is gorgeous! My daughter was shocked how luxurious it looked at the entrance given what we'd paid for the trip. She even questioned whether we had the right place lol. Well located close to shops and even with my mobility issues it was well within walking distance of gare du nord and the seine. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. High ceilings made it feel very spacious. Would highly recommend to people and I'd definitely hope to stay again!

Very very small rooms. Couldn't actually open our 2 bags properly as there was no space. The photos of the rooms can be deceiving. I think these photos are of the upgraded suites. Make sure to upgrade if you want a spacious room. The staff was really friendly and helpful overall.

Hotel chosen from the photo. Unfortunately the room we were given was a fraction of the one depicted. The lift was very small barely big enough for one person and a suitcase. The staff were lovely. Very curteous and helpful.

You can do better
Hotel is OK. You can get a better deal for your money elsewhere. Staff is rude and inconsiderate. Be careful with your belongings. Make sure if it’s valuable you keep it on your person at all times. Tiny elevator. Small rooms. Non helpful staff. Older decor.

Location was great. Small shops and restaurants within minutes from the hotel. Hotel was nice looking. Clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was good for the €10. Down falls were the room I received I got a key, not a swipe card. Didn’t love carrying around a key incase i lost it. As well then I was unable to get into the hotel and had to ring the door bell each time. Fine for me as I was a solo traveller not out late. Not a big deal. Bed was to stiff for my liking. Pillows were uncomfortable. Room was a good size for one person. I had the double bed room. Two people would be a little cramped, but average for Europe. I left the “do not disturb” sign on my door while out for the day. While I was gone house keeping did come in and clean my room. I didn’t really like the fact that they entered my room. I had some of my things on the bed and on the desk as I wasn’t expecting anyone in the room. The water and the cotton buds (qtips) were the two things I used from the hotel. These were not replaced, so bit annoying they were not replaced after entering the room when I didn’t request cleaning. The next morning while I was getting ready for my 1130am check out they tried to enter the room again just before 11am. The “do not disturb” sign was still on the door. Walls also pretty thin. I was woken up at 6am the second night to someone showering and packing in the next room. I could here them farting and taking a dump haha not pleasant to wake up to
