Small hotel in a first ring area. They had an elevator and dining area. The rooms had everything one could need. Nice bathrooms and nice windows. Small. Front desk staff was sometimes good sometimes not good. Restaurant not the best.

The Hôtel Observatoire Luxembourg is a wonderful hotel with everything you want when staying in Paris. Great location, comfortable accommodations, tasty breakfast and extremely helpful staff. We will be back!

This hotel is close to the Luxembourg station. Straight shot from the CDG airport. Hotel staff are polite and knowledgeable. 10/10

Perfectly located, this stylish hotel offers a peaceful retreat across from Luxembourg Gardens but within easy walking distance of Le Pantheon & great local restaurants. Bonus that it is an easy 2 min walk to Luxembourg RER station for traffic-free 45 minute CDG airport transfers. Have already recommended to friends & family & will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff all speak English and were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffe was very nice with fresh juices, made to order coffee, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt and fresh fruits and granola, eggs and bacon, and delicious pastries. The rooms were very small (even in French standards) and there's only a tiny wardrobe to store clothes (no dresser). Bathroom is small too (there's soap and shampoo - bring your own conditioner). But it's clean, comfortable and in a great area (just go with expectations of it being nothing like an American hotel room). You will have one of the most amazing Parisian neighborhoods at your doorstep. Go out and explore. The Luxembourg Metro stop is steps away from hotel. You can also catch the RER to the airport there.

Absolutely recommend. We visited for holiday and stayed 4 nights. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Have seen some guests mention the rooms are small. Yes they are (it’s Paris) but more than enough space for 2 people to be comfortable, and the bathroom is more than sufficient. You will just be using your room for sleeping and preparing for your day, plenty of space for that! The friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve had from a hotel in recent memory.

The hotel was perfect for our gap night in Paris. The location was great for walking to Lux Gardens and all the highlights in 6/5! Room was fine for us both and bathroom really nice! Front desk/check in was friendly and helpful! It’s a beautiful older hotel and I would stay again!

We originally booked the cheapest room. When we got there though, there was hardly enough space for two people to walk. The hotel staff though was very accommodating and upgraded us after we brought this to their attention. Also the air conditioning leaked. But overall a comfortable stay in a clean hotel in a great location.

Hotel is located next to the Luxembourg metro station that is directly connected to Airport by PER-B train. So you do not need to take Uber. Buy Navigo Pass in airport at the vending machine. Daily pass for all 5 zones (22 eur) will work or get a single ride ticket for 11 eur. PER-B train does not always work due to construction so check RATP website for updates. Hotel itself is small but has a nice lobby and very friendly and respectful stuff (speak English). Rooms are small but nicely decorated and my bed was really comfortable. Also bathroom had a small tub what not so common anymore as most hotels opt for a shower. Wi-Fi did not work in bathroom by some reason. Area around hotel is safe even at night but there is no much action going on at night in food/bar department. In order to reach a closest restaurant that works late you would need to walk 10 minutes. The closest coffee shop called friends opens like 11am... not too early. There are two very cool attractions nearby: Luxembourg gardens just across the street and Panthéon in like 2 bus stops away (20 minutes walk). Those places are my favorite spots in the city that why I had chosen this place. If you want to visit Louvre take PER-B train till Châtelet station and then switch to yellow line 1. Entire trip is 15 minute or 30-60 minutes if you just walk there. One downside of my room was that it did not have a place to put a laptop. So if you are planning to work from hotel then request a bigger room.

The room was very small, we were placed right behind the elevator which luckily was not too noisy. The worst part however was there was a strong sewer smell that was emanating from the shower drain that could only be stopped with a wet towel being placed over it. Room was very hot on arrival and A/C did not seem to work so we had to sleep with the window open and the street was very noisy. Would choose a different location/property next time.

Great location, right next to the RER B, which takes you directly to and from CDG. Luxembourg garden is across the street- nice to go for a walk or picnic with all the locals. Staff was extremely kind and remembers your name. Bed and pillows were comfortable, location is quiet at night. Would definitely stay again.

This is an ideal location just right across from Luxembourg Gardens, and right on the 38-bus line and RER-B, so you have easy access to get to anywhere you want. Quiet rooms, great, friendly staff and the food at the restaurant is outstanding.

A boutique hotel worth staying at.
The staff was incredibly kind and gave all the help we need. Spoke multiple languages. The room was clean and they have you tea and coffee everyday. The breakfast wasn’t really worth 19 euro but it’s wasn’t terrible. It was next to a grocery store and the Luxembourg RATP station which allowed for easy commuting. Also near Latin Quarter where they had a lot of different eateries and bars. Close to Pantheon. Would definitely stay again.

I appreciate boutique hotels, and this hotel is at the top of my list when I stay in Paris. The rooms are comfortable and I like the decor. The staff is friendly and the attached bistro is great for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The location is perfect!
