Although Monmartre is not in what is considered to be the 'center' of Paris, it's a great location, easily accessible by Metro, Bus and Uber and is an area favoured by many. Place du Tertre is close, as well as Sacre Coeur (we walked there one morning).
The hotel was very good. The rooms were small (the hotel itself if very compact), but they have made really good use of the space, particularly in the bathroom area. The shower was a pleasant surprise, as it's bigger on the inside than you expect when you see the door to it, is very clean, and has lovely modern tiles and rainfall shower head. The bed was big and comfortable, the bedding was high quality. I really liked the fact I could open the 'balcony' windows. The Wifi worked well in the room. There was a flat screen TV mounted in the wall. We stayed in room 202 - so I cannot speak for the other rooms, but I would choose to stay in this hotel again based on this one. It was modern, clean, good quality and functional. No frills however so if you want room service, restaurants and spa's then go for 4+ ratings and pay the price. I thought this hotel was good value for money. I would recommend it to friends and family.
I did not see any air conditioning, so I am not sure how comfortable it would be in the warmer months.
Paris is noisy so if you do open the window at night as we did, then expect to hear noise. I always take ear plugs when I travel so this wasn't an issue for me.
Only 2 power sockets in the room
