Location, Locatiion

Posted 21-May-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: There could be a little more for breakfast.
Location: There were plenty of restaurants and shops in the streets behind the hotel and I was in the center of everything with easy access via Metro.
I chose the hotel for location and was not disappointed. The streets behind the hotel were filled with restaurants, the Metro was right outside the door, and the hop on hop off tour buses had two stops within steps of the hotel. Even with the street noise it was great. I got the room I wanted and the staff was always helpful and friendly.

Fantastic and Convenient Location

Posted 7-May-2017
Located literally within a few steps of the St. Michel rail station (which connects directly to CDG airport), across the street from historical Shakespeare and Company bookstore/cafe and the Notre Dame Cathedral, overseeing the Seine River, walking distance of Louvre, Jardin du Luxembourg and others, right in front of the hop on hop off tours, and with a set of alley ways behind it packed full of affordable dining and souvenirs. This is a great location. I recommend asking for a stand up shower if possible. Really recommend taking the train RER to Palace of Versaille. Breakfast is available at hotel for descent price, or alternatively you can venture to the Ile Saint-Louis (island), and walk the streets to find other options and local cafes. For a little extra, really recommend to get room with a view of Notre Dame. The free wifi was good, loved the decor, appreciated easy to use safe, and staff were great with fluent english and other languages spoken. We definitely recommend this as a base of operations.

Best hotel in central Paris

Posted 19-Apr-2017
Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed! The hotel is quite small kind like hidden between souvenir shops and restaurants, and the front desk is small too but the room is actually quite spacious. Big enough for two of us (neither one slim) to dance lol. Love the bath tub the most, a great hot bath can ease the tiredness and prepare us for the next day. Our room was courtyard view, it was in fact a gap between buildings, but we never stay in hotel in the day so didn't care much. The bar view is the Seine and the Norte Dame which is like the best ever. This hotel is amazingly located with the Norte Dame just opposite to it so is the RER B/C station. Makes everything super easy. Walking to the Louvre is also an option and it only takes about 20mins walking by the Seine!! I'm certain that I'll come back when I visit Paris again!!

Convenient and charming

Posted 15-Apr-2017
Walk to everything. RER to CDG right across the street. Great location for strolling the Left Bank, Ile de la Cite, Ile St. Louis and Maraus. Fresh OJ, coffee and pastry for breakfast (be careful, Expedia ad said it was included but hotel charged 11 euros a day fir it as there was no indication on my voucher that it was included.) Nice staff.

Awesome location and great stay

Posted 25-Mar-2017
The staff is very accommodating and even worked with us after I incorrectly booked a room for only two. The location is perfect for walking and catching the metro with several stops nearby. We loved the area with lots of side streets and had a wonderful view of Notre Dame. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris.

Close to local attractions

Posted 23-Mar-2017
Pros: Small rooms but comfortable / clean. Thought it might be a bit noisy as the street was a very busy street but this was not the case, maybe the wine?
Cons: Confusion at check out, we booked online but when we checked out the hotel claim we needed to pay additional city taxes.....this was a bit upsetting..
Location: Paris is Paris, you can find whatever you want with little to no effort.
Only one night in Paris, wanted to see Notre Dame Saint Michel. This was as close for a hotel to this main attraction. Took train from CDG into Paris, got off within one block of the hotel location. Easy, quick without traffic jams :))

Nice Hotel with great Staff

Pros: Proximity to Cathedral
Cons: Noise abatement
Great location in the Latin Quarter. Close to everything. A bit noisy a night due to the location of pubs.

Nice hotel. Great location. Helpful staff.

Overall: great experience and I would stay again! Beautiful view of Notre Dame. Noise not a problem with the windows closed. Metro right across the street. Bed comfortable. Bathrobes a nice touch. Room was a small space, but adequate. Staff was friendly; printed documents for us, arranged shuttle, provided info. Advice: need a mirror somewhere outside of the bathroom. Leave extra toilet paper in the room; we had to ask on two separate occasions for toilet paper. Needs better lighting in bathroom. Impossible to take a shower without getting water everywhere.

Heart of the action...

Posted 15-Mar-2017
Pros: Loved the location and the funky decor of the rooms. I found our room spacious, and loved having a tub with a view of notre dame.
Cons: The rooms were warm and had air fresheners that were a bit overwhelming. Popped open the windows every time we walked in the room to air it out.
Location: Loved the location, literally right across the street from the RER train that comes straight from the airport. We walked everywhere!!!!
The hotel is small with just 26 rooms so don't expect grand lobbies and soaring ceilings when you walk in. There is a flight of stairs from the street to the lobby that you have to drag your suitcase up. There is a tiny elevator ( one person, one suitcase) that can take you to your room from the lobby. The staff are lovely and all speak English. There is a small lounge area with views of the river and notre dame where they serve a continental breakfast every morning (we didn't try it though). Wi-fi is okay but at times would test our patience. Rooms facing the notre dame are noisy, the ambience of street traffic, sirens, tour buses during the day are loud, but it quiets down at night. Beds are very comfortable. Slippers and robes are provided, a nice touch. Safes are provided in the rooms. Awesome views of the cathedral from our room.
