Prime location and worth every penny

Great location and what a view! walking to all left bank and Latin quarter. Metro accross the street. Charming hotel oozing with character and with an artistic flare in a centuries old building. Loved it.

What a wonderful location- lovely old corner build

Posted 16-Sep-2016
Pros: Comfortable bed, air conditioning, spotless room service, nice bathroom, plenty of room to put garments all in one place. Well designed decoration.
Cons: Would have liked to have seen some English programs (satellite) on TV but then who goes on holidays to watch TV? Cannot ask anything else to change
Location: Entrance to Metro across road to anywhere. Paris is spread out. Cathedral Square n gardens beautiful. Loads of bars restaurants shops round block.
We spent the day in London and then came through to Paris on Eurostar. Hotel reception is on 1st floor up a small flight of steps, we rang the bell to enter. The secure door was next to a busy pavement bar- we have to thank David on reception. He came down, opened the door and took our case from us and lifted it upstairs, we were appreciative and quite tired by then. There was a lift to the 5 other floors above and our room was up in the roof, small but adequate, very comfortable with stunning decoration. All the walls were insulated and covered with unique paper, see the website. In the room there was a polished wooden ladder to reach a platform like a mezzanine with a telly and a beanbag another dressing table and another opening window where we had stunning views over Notre Dame cathredral, the river Seine, street bars and cafes below and the busy main road passing the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic, typically French with pain au chocolat and croissants, honey and jams, plenty of tea and coffee and they even put cereals out for us too. Nothing was too much to ask for and all the staff were very helpful and pleasant. All spoke English and this was a relief as we cannot speak French. We had excellent nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Linen was spotless with bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom was small but high end decoration lovely for such an old building. The carpets throughout must have a mention. Looked like floorboards/cobbled streets and logs. Beautiful!

We are sorry for your dissappointment about the room size, unfortunately we are a boutiquehotel in a 400years old Parisian building. Our french breakfast at 10€ include Hot drink - Orange fresh juice, French Baguette and Pastries, Honey / Variety of jam, Cereals, Fresh fruits, Stewed fruits, Yogurt. But there is also a lot of bar around us if you need something else. Despite your deception we hope to welcome you in the future and to leave a better souvenir about us.

Tiny boutique hotel with marvelous Notre Dame view

Posted 13-Sep-2016
Pros: Location! Just across from the metro and bus station. Couldn't be more accessible.
Cons: The wifi is not adequate. It is very slow and cuts off often. Be warned--you must climb a flight of stairs to check in.
Location: Across the street from Notre Dame at Saint Michel. Very accessible to everything on west bank and also next to bus and metro stops. Great location.
This is a boutique hotel right on the Quai across from Notre Dame. There are only a few rooms and they are small but very adequate. We loved the location and the view. The interior is funky and very unusual. Breakfast in the lobby area is not expensive.+

Great Location ,

Posted 10-Sep-2016
Pros: The location
Cons: Yes , need some baskets or shelf ,something to put our soap shampoo when taking our shower ,
the location was great , few minutes walk to Notre Dame ,Market Flowers ,restaurants and bus stop front of the hotel ,The hotel had an elevator ,but the reception is one floor up,from the street entrance and you have to use stairs case , and no one to help with our luggage(. knees surgery and be both Seniors 70 + was very painful to do this few time a day ) The rooms was nice ,small but perfectly clean with a decor to busy for our test ,velvet and heavy plastic, prints wall paper ,but looking through the windows and see Notre Dame ,like you can touch it ,make you say every thing is wonderful !!!!

Great boutique hotel!

Posted 1-Sep-2016
Pros: The location can't be beat! Also, the room decor was very artsy!
Cons: The room did get a little stuffy, but we found a fan in the closet and once we plugged that in, it was a great way to add circulation to the room!
Location: For fantastic views of the city...pay the extra 10 euros (free for minors) and climb the towers of Notre Dame (line is on left side of the cathedral)
I'm so glad that I found this hotel on Expedia...what a charming hotel! We stayed in a corner room with amazing views of Notre Dame. The area around the hotel is very lively with lots of restaurants and cafes. Head down into the narrow alleyways behind the hotel for inexpensive creperies, 5 euro Greek Gyros (pita bread filled with cucumber sauce, lettuce, tomato, meat and topped with fresh french fries!). We splurged on the hotel so we looked for ways to cut costs on our breakfast and lunches. I ran out every morning to a nearby cafe with a pastry counter and brought back fresh croissants and pain au chocolat. Also, for an inexpensive lunch or to buy some bottles of water and snacks for your room, head up the Boulevard St. Michel toward the Sorbonne and look for M&S. It's a British grocery chain but they have delicious inexpensive, pre-packaged sandwiches/wraps, etc. We took advantage of their 6euro meal deal...a sandwich, bag of chips or yogurt, and a drink for one low price! Tip: if you come by RER B line, head for the handicap/elevator that is at the end of the platform. That elevator exit will take you up to the street level and literally just around the corner from the hotel. Don't make the mistake that we did following everyone else up the general exits...that will take you to exits much further away from the hotel entrance! All in all...we had a wonderful 5 days/4 nights in Paris. The reception desk staff is very helpful so ask questions!!

Great location with great views

Posted 25-Aug-2016
We got room 61 on the 6th floor, loft with a great view of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Great location, right next to the canal and all the restaurants. Noise from the street and tourists but that didn't bother us. The room was interesting but had character. No shower head so we had to be very creative. Overall, great stay!

Great location

Posted 23-Aug-2016
Pros: Location and its unique character. Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Older building so did have some issues with water not draining in shower stall and toilet needed coaxing to flush properly.
Location: Hotel is in a great location to explore the Latin quarters and the waterway. Lots of great affordable restaurants nearby.
Funky, little boutique hotel in great location. Would recommend hotel, but it is on a busy, noisy street. Bed was comfortable and room came with all the necessary amenities. Opted not to take hotel breakfast as there were lots of great restaurants near by. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

La ubicación perfecta en Paris

Posted 20-Aug-2016
Personal agradable y esmerado, algunos hablando español. Volveremos.
