The staff was very friendly and bilingual. The hotel was very accommodating to us, even though we made a mistake with the booking.

Great bijoux hotel

Posted 20-Jan-2016
Pros: Its quirky nature. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. 24 hour reception.
Cons: Nothing
Location: This hotel is central at Notre Dame. The Champs Elycees and Eiffel Tour are walkable at a long stretch - take the metro or Batobus just outside.
I wanted somewhere where I would not stand out as a single traveller and would be comfortable and central. Notre Dame St Michel ticked all the boxes. It is an easy and very pleasant walk to the museums along the bank of the Seine. You can either walk along the waters edge or at road height. My rooms three windows overlooked Notre Dame Cathedral and the river on the fifth floor, so not noisy from traffic. There is a lift to take you up and down - a bit slow but in keeping with the quirky nature of the hotel. Each step on the staircase is carpeted in a different colour! The shape of the room is odd and the floor slopes a little, but all is very clear and in good decorative order. There is a neat modern bathroom with a bath - great for a long soak after a lot of walking.

Pros: Everything was good
Cons: Flush handle in the bathroom
Location: Notre Dame Cathedral
Great Location, easy to get to rest of Paris by Metro. Our room was small, but comfortable and with a beautiful view. The service was really good.

Great hotel in the heart of Paris.

Posted 2-Jan-2016
Pros: The size and location of this hotel are the best. It is charming and it's an easy walk to many major museums, attractions and hundreds of eateries.
Cons: The only thing it lacked was an in room espresso/coffee maker, but that could be purchased in the lobby. Otherwise, it was perfect.
Location: It is perfect for strolling the banks of the Seine and visiting the Louvre, Orsay and Picasso museums. Literally hundreds of eateries withing blocks!
We celebrated our 25th anniversary in Paris and looked for a boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter for our stay. This hotel was a home run. It is small. It has less than 30 rooms. It is in a 400 year old building that has a small second floor lobby with a small breakfast/cocktail area. It has tiny hallways and an even smaller elevator, all of which added to the charm and beauty of the place. Despite the small common areas, our room was quite large compared to two other hotels in which we stayed in the past. The bathroom was also very large, with a full tub and nicely tiled floor. The decor is as pretty as the photos, and our room had three sets of large windows that opened out, overlooking the Seine. It was beautiful. Our room faced the river, but we could look out at an angle and see Notre Dame. It was spectacular. This hotel is in the heart of Paris. It is a very busy, vibrant tourist area. Despite this, the windows block most of the sound from the street. We slept comfortably in a great bed, with much less than expected street noise. I've slept in the French Quarter in New Orleans many times, and this place, with more people, busier streets, etc, was ten times quieter! And I did I mention, it's in the heart of Paris?! The location could not be beat! The staff is friendly, accommodating and speak good English. With the hotel being so small, we received personal attention when we needed something. We rarely shared the front desk with any other guest!

Amazing location!

Posted 23-Dec-2015
Pros: The location was perfect. It made it impossible to get lost.
Cons: Make sure all rooms have stand up showers. The tubs were hard to shower in. Also, mini frig would be great.
Location: A bunch of shops and restaurants. The Notre Dame is right across the street.
Overall the experience was very nice. I wanted to stay in a boutique hotel and this was a great one. Everyone was so nice to us with directions and making sure we were comfortable.

Very nice hotel very close to Notre Dame Cathedral

Posted 21-Dec-2015
Pros: The decor and the staff made this hotel a definite for a revisit.
Cons: The only thing i would say that could be improved is to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Location: Location was amazing, i couldn't have got any closer to Notre Dame if i'd tried and i found it so easy to get around from there.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble and the service was brilliant. I would definitely go back to this hotel again and would recommend it to friends.
