Not much to say about this hotel- it’s fine for the price for a few brief days’ stay, max 2-3 days.
We stayed in the family room, which is actually two separate rooms, with a shared entrance door.
The positives:
*The room was very clean, with almost new amenities (shower and toilet and mattresses looked good)
* The receptionist, a Black girl (we didn’t get her name) was friendly and accommodating (although not so much the other receptionist staff).
*The price (note: not the value, but the price, in comparison to other available hotels)
*The location (right by the Place d’italie, with 3 metro stations within walking distance, and a large Carrefour; it also felt safe).
The negatives:
*The breakfast was… below par. They’re understaffed. Only 1 lady was there to clean/serve/replenish for breakfast, so obviously there was never enough food, and tables weren’t cleaned in time (not her fault, they need min 2 members to serve breakfast).
The food was also below average, both quantity and quality-wise.
* The reception wasn’t the friendliest, first impressions matter, and they really should at least smile and explain things upon arrival (we were asked our names, and told to go up to our floor; that’s it).
* The walls are somewhat thin, we could hear our next-door neighbours come in very late at night, and move around their room.
