I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt the need to share my personal experience with this specific hotel to help others. I am not a picky person and am OK roughing it a little but this hotel did not meet any of our standards. Pros: -close to Chinatown and many Asian restaurants that are all walking distance -right next to the place d’italie metro station -bed was comfortable -affordable Cons: -booked 5 standard rooms that were all completely different sizes. The twin room was much bigger than the double room. I was only able to open my check-in size luggage in one small corner of our double room because it was incredibly small -there is no refrigerator in the rooms (there is only one in the communal lobby you can use) -our lock box, air conditioner, and room telephone did not work. We asked the staff to help fix them or switch our room but we came back to nothing changed and no communication -the room is very old and had an extremely musty smell that only went away after we opened the window to air out for a day -they do not give face towels, only have 1 bottle in the shower and sink for a multipurpose shampoo/soap/body wash -our shower had pink mold stains in the grout upon check-in, on day 2 we asked them to clean our room, on day 4 we now had black mold on top of the pink mold in the shower -no sink counter space at all in our double room. We had to put our toiletries on the ledge over the toilet on the other side of the room

They could not cope at breakfast they run out of plates cups cutlery and food when you asked staff they just said we are busy. I ve never known any thing like it very poor They only made beds in the morning they never replaced water and tea coffee after it was used 1st night

Excelente atencion de parte de todos los recepcionistas. Muy amables y predispuestos. Si bien el hotel esta un poco alejado de la zona turistica, es rapido y facil viajar desde alli hacia el centro, esta muy bien conectado, con el transporte publico. Las habitaciones son sencillas , muy limpias, tiene todo lo necesario. El barrio es bastante tranquilo. El lugar es agradable. Muy buena relacion calidad-precio.

- Otelin konumu metroya çok yakındı, bu anlamda iyiydi - Girişte rezervasyon esnasında yer almayan "enerji katkısı" adı altında kişi başı 2 € ekstra vergi aldılar, sorunca ne olduğunu açıklayamadılar bile - Temizlik özenli değildi, halılar çok pis ve banyoda kıl vs. vardı - Resepsiyondaki personel ilgisiz ve soğuktu - Odada ve banyoda karıncalar vardı - Odadaki lamba kırıktı Otel genel olarak hayal kırıklığı yarattı, birkaç sadece uyumak için idare edilebilir ama Paris'te aynı bölgede daha iyi seçenekler var, burada kalmanızı önermem.

Not much to say about this hotel- it’s fine for the price for a few brief days’ stay, max 2-3 days. 
We stayed in the family room, which is actually two separate rooms, with a shared entrance door.
 The positives:
 *The room was very clean, with almost new amenities (shower and toilet and mattresses looked good)
 * The receptionist, a Black girl (we didn’t get her name) was friendly and accommodating (although not so much the other receptionist staff).
 *The price (note: not the value, but the price, in comparison to other available hotels)
 *The location (right by the Place d’italie, with 3 metro stations within walking distance, and a large Carrefour; it also felt safe).

 The negatives:
 *The breakfast was… below par. They’re understaffed. Only 1 lady was there to clean/serve/replenish for breakfast, so obviously there was never enough food, and tables weren’t cleaned in time (not her fault, they need min 2 members to serve breakfast). The food was also below average, both quantity and quality-wise. 
* The reception wasn’t the friendliest, first impressions matter, and they really should at least smile and explain things upon arrival (we were asked our names, and told to go up to our floor; that’s it). * The walls are somewhat thin, we could hear our next-door neighbours come in very late at night, and move around their room.

The location is great, it is only 2 mins away from the metro station. However, the hotel is not what I thought it would be. The room, executive double is extremely small. The bedsheets were dirty and we had to request some clean ones and even those ones were stained. On our first night there, towards the morning, we woke up terrified due to a fire alarm. We were on the 7th floor and it took us some time to make it downstairs, however even when we did go there, no one was able to tell us what caused the alarm to go off. No communication or just a courtesy message to put us all at ease. I am happy that we didn’t need to put the AC on, as that would have blown a lot of dirt and dust. For a hotel so big, there is only one lift, and in the morning it stopped at every single floor before it even reached the last floor (7th).

Great location, terrible service
Despite the great location close to metro, I would never stay here again. When I check in I was booked into a 1st floor room right by the elevator, which makes loud announcements at each floor. There was a roof outside my window covered in cigarette butts. It felt very unsafe to know that people loitered right outside my window, so I asked for a new room. I was happy to get one the next day, but my happiness was short-lived. There was a heatwave going through Paris during my stay and the AC in the new room didn’t work. Apparently, this was a known, widespread problem affecting many rooms and wasn’t going to get fixed until the following week, but it took multiple interactions with the front desk staff to get the full story. The road noise was so loud that keeping the window open wasn’t an option, and there was no fridge in the room so you couldn’t even cool off with a cold drink. I did finally manage to get a large fan, which I had to lug up to my room myself. The beds were very uncomfortable. The mattress was so old and worn out that there was a visible concave dip in the center and you were lying directly on the wooden slats below. The worst part, however, was the front desk staff. Although some of them were ok, one woman clearly disliked customers and made into attempt to hide the fact that every time you talked to her you were a huge burden and a terrible inconvenience and you should really just go away and stop bothering her.

The hotel is two minutes from the Metro, which is fantastic. Staff were welcoming and the room was in very good condition and a decent size for Paris. I appreciated the bottles of water left for me during the heat. My only criticism was about the way in which breakfast was managed: the food was good and there was both variety and quantity, but tables were not cleared and cutlery and crockery were not replaced when they ran out. Guests had to set their own places among the debris and forage for plates and knives in order to eat breakfast.
