The hotel is very close to Metro Line 2, Station Jaurès, which makes it convenient for those who ride the RER from CDG. The immediate area is a little run down, but is gentrifying quickly and is seeing a lot of renovations and investment. Food, grocery, bakery options are all nearby. And, you’re not far from major attractions, like Butte Chaumont park and the canals. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is available downstairs in the morning. You do have to go up one story from the ground floor for the reception desk and elevator, which means you might have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. This also makes the hotel inaccessible to those people with mobility issues. All in all, it was safe and clean. Booked a superior double room but got a room so small we had to take turns standing on the floor. Just got a shrug of the shoulders and a "not everyone respects the no smoking policy. The bed was big enough but stone hard no matter how we tossed or turned. The bathroom was tiny with the toilet pressed into the washbasin and the toilet paper roll placed behind the toilet. Smal, thin and worn towels. The walls in the room were scuffed and marked. The handle on the bathroom window almost falling off.
