Decent stay for the cost
Friendly staff. Carpet VERY worn. The room is small, but we were more concerned about costs and knew what we were getting. The bathroom was fine except the tub had a half wall and there was no way to take a shower without spraying water everywhere. I also did not like the lack of a safe for valuables. The key fob was enormous, but I took it off the ring while we were gone from the hotel and then put it back on when we checked out.

The staff was so helpful and friendly and the area was great. But… the carpet was really dirty, there was a 1/2 eaten candy bar in the minibar, and the bathroom floor was really dirty. When we checked out, they had us listed as taking 2 waters from the minibar, which we didn’t. They fixed it, but not very observant since they didn’t really check when the previous party checked out. Would we stay again, probably not.

Discovering the petite bijoux
Whether or not it was a joyful experience I would rather say it was a moment of discovery. This petite bijoux as it is well known by only a few that are connoisseurs of the area has many secrets. From the deco that has been tastefully chosen, in particular the vibrant paintings placed around the hall and the breakfast room to the amicable staff, the hours passed. It just needs a fresh update to make a stay infinitely pleasant.

Absolute joke. This hotel has not been cleaned properly for years. Hair stuck on bathroom walls, rusted fridge, disgustingly stained carpet. Dust collected and stuck on things from years of being there. Live socket. Extremely dangerous. There is no way on earth this is 3 stars. It is barely a bedsit.

The room AC at this hotel periodically cuts out and doesn’t restart. This led to us having a TERRIBLE night, with the room getting up to 29 degrees. The worst part of the experience was that when I told the desk staff they denied that it was true. For any unfortunates who already have a pre-paid reservation at this hotel, apparently quickly double-tapping the “on” button will get it to restart (can’t actually confirm). But the main point is that it is NOT OKAY for the AC to shut off during a heat wave, and for a room to get hot enough for the guests to wake up in discomfort, and it is really NOT OKAY to behave like they’re crazy when they complain about it. I will also note that our bathroom did not have a shower, contrary to the Expedia listing. A bathtub with a hand wand is NOT a shower. Starting every day crouching in the very deep, hard to climb into bathtub while holding a hand wand over one’s head isn’t a fun way to start the day. I also have to admit utter incredulity at the idea that this is a 3 star hotel. Maybe different rules apply in Paris. But based on the aged furnishings, small rooms, bashed up paint etc. this would be a 2 star at best in any other part of Europe. The location is convenient, close to 2 subways stops, and near lots of restaurants, a laundromat, small groceries etc. But in spite of that, you couldn't pay me to return.

Rooms are small by American standards, but still nice. Staff lock the front doors and after 8 pm you have to ring a bell and wait to be let into the property. Close to everything you need while visiting the city.

Delightful hotel
Perfectly located just a 2 min walk from both Blvd Montparnasse and the Jardins Luxembourg; on a street with quiet restaurants, shops, a boulangerie and a patisserie. Comfortable bed, good bath and shower facilities, desk and a kettle. The very friendly staff that certainly made my holiday.

Centrally located. Fairly quiet. Friendly service. No place but the middle of the road to stop the car to unload luggage-not sure how you handle this if alone… Room is really tiny: if you sit at the (small) table and your companion needs to go to the bathroom you have to get up.

Nice location and helpful staff
Very good located hotel. Very close to lively area of Montparnasse with restaurants and bars. Few underground stop to Latin Quarter. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are small and need some refurbishment.

An excellent choice.
This is a lovely little hotel, very comfortable and welcoming, in a great location. It's near Luxembourg Gardens, Blvd. Montparnasse and other left bank sites. We were very pleased we decided to stay for a night here [rather than at the airport]. Well worth the commute to the airport to have a "city" stay to enjoy a good restaurant and a delightful neighborhood.

Reasonable sized, clean and pleasant room with a comfortable bed . Good location handy for rail , metro and bus. Helpful , friendly and accommodating staff ,we arrived very early and hoped to leave our bags until it was time to check in but were allocated a room for which we were very grateful. Also able to leave our bags after check out as our flight was in the evening , this was much appreciated . Quiet location in evening even though the area is bustling with café's and bars . I would stay here again . Only thing that would have improved our stay was a kettle in the room .

The Hotel itself is charming with an atmosphere typical of an attractive traditional Parisian Property. The location could not be any better for a holiday in Paris; as it stands centrally amongst all that the desirable attractions and next to beautiful Brassieres, Theatres , Cinemas and Cathedral’s. Jean the Manager and his lovely colleagues could not have been more helpful to us during our stay and we felt we experienced the uniqueness of Paris (which is essential) because of this Wonderful little Hotel. Ok enough. Probably not a second stay here though.
The service here was incredible and everyone who worked here was super nice. The room itself was OK on cleanliness, but the towels felt a little weird and there were stains on the carpet. There were little things broken in the room, but nothing that ruined my stay. I did not feel like the air-conditioner was up to the standard I hold for AC.
